Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Eric may have a chance at being a father after all. DOOL fans know Eric was devastated when Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) got an abortion, especially since she’d previously agreed that they would raise their child together.
However, Jada decided to terminate the pregnancy in the end, which left Eric angry with Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) for filling Jada’s head with motherhood doubts.
Of course, Jada is a grown woman who’s more than capable of making her own decisions, so it was never really Nicole’s fault.
Even so, Eric needed someone to blame and lashed out at Nicole anyway, so that’s led some strain between them.
It took drugged biscuits to really lift that tension and get these exes back into bed together.
Now that Nicole has slept with Eric, Days spoilers suggest there’s the potential for them to have a miracle baby.
Nicole doesn’t believe she can successfully carry a child to term, but miracles do happen – especially in a town like Salem.
That brings us to some baby-related storyline leaks for a Days episode that’ll air this October.
Jessica Serfaty (Sloan Petersen) recently posted an Instagram story that showed off a slightly blurry script, but a few lines could still be deciphered.
That Days script features Eric approaching Sloan, who asks if everything is OK with the baby.
Eric then assures Sloan that everything is fine and mentions something about a prescription.
Since Sloan is out of the loop and asking questions about this mystery baby, that makes it seem like it’s not her own!
Could Eric be relaying news to Sloan about Nicole’s pregnancy instead?
If Nicole miraculously has a bun in the oven, then her pregnancy will obviously be a high-risk one.
There are bound to be some scares along the way, so Eric may give Sloan updates after Nicole’s crisis.
It’s possible there’ll be another explanation if Eric is taking care of someone else’s infant or something along those lines, but Sloan’s particular wording seems like a clue.
Sloan wonders if everything is OK with the baby instead of asking if the baby is OK.
The difference is slight but significant since “with the baby” implies a baby that hasn’t been born yet – especially since this little one seemingly doesn’t have a name.
It wouldn’t make sense for Sloan to ask Eric questions about her own pregnancy, so it’s perhaps more likely that Eric and Nicole conceived a miracle child – one that Nicole will still be expecting when October rolls around.
