Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Friday, February 17 Recap – Orpheus Offers Real Killer’s Name to Stop Syringe

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Friday, February 17, reveals that Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) struggled to believe Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) would get on board with a murder plot.

However, Nick Fallon (Blake Berris) offered proof through a video of Roman, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) banding together to kill Orpheus (George DelHoyo).

Kate blamed Steve for talking Roman into it and ranted about Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) not stopping her husband while she had the chance.

Kayla argued that she would’ve indeed stopped Steve if she’d known what the guys were planning when she visited him.

While Nick was off tormenting other guests on Friday’s Days episode, Kate decided she’d try to get through the firewall like Kayla did.

Although Kate wasn’t able to appear in a vision, she was able to help Roman hear her voice.

That left Roman looking crazy during Anna DiMera’s (Leann Hunley) visit to the pub, where Roman insisted he could hear Kate talking to him.

Anna seemed skeptical, but Roman heard Kate tell him to stop Orpheus’ murder plot and ultimately took off for Statesville.

Meanwhile, Orpheus got updates on Lucas Horton’s (Bryan Dattilo) drunken spectacle and grew suspicious.

It didn’t seem like Orpheus had been gone long enough for Lucas to get that plastered.

Orpheus found the empty booze bottle in the trash, but then he saw where Lucas had poured it out after taking a closer look.

Since Lucas was obviously pretending to be drunk, Orpheus assumed he was playing a game of some sort and wanted to find out why.

In the infirmary on Friday’s DOOL show, Steve and John talked about cutting the security cameras before Lucas helped them get through the medical entrance.

Since Orpheus worked in the infirmary and would be there for his shift soon, John and Steve urged Lucas to leave.

Lucas was reluctant, but Steve and John felt he’d done his part.

When the doctor suddenly appeared, Steve and John covered by acting like they were orderlies who’d been sent to clean.

The doctor examined Lucas and backed up Steve’s advice to send him back to his cell to sleep this off.

Once the doctor exited as well, Steve and John were left to wait for Orpheus alone.

Next on Friday’s Days episode, Orpheus walked into the death trap.

John and Steve informed Orpheus that they’d make it look like he got into the opioids and accidentally overdosed himself.

After Orpheus was strapped down, John loaded up a syringe with enough morphine to kill him.

Steve said he’d do the honors and prepared to inject Orpheus, who had something to say first.

Although Steve didn’t think there was anything that could change their minds about this, Orpheus suggested he could tell Steve and John who was really responsible for the deaths of their wives.

Once Roman found Lucas in the visiting area, he insisted they had to find Steve and Roman so they could stop this deadly Orpheus plan.

Back in the afterlife on Friday’s Days episode, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) agreed to spend eternity by the devil’s side if Kayla and Kate could go to the good place.

The delighted devil – who was still in Doug Williams’ (Bill Hayes) form at this point – shook with her on the deal and allowed Marlena to say her goodbyes.

When Marlena returned to Kate and Kayla, they thought it was good news when she revealed their souls were no longer sold.

Sadly, Marlena also had to explain the deal she made so Kayla and Kate’s souls would be free.

Kayla refused to let Marlena go to hell alone and talked Kate into banding together with them.

Nick was pleased since that meant he could take all three of them to hell, so he asked if Marlena, Kate and Kayla were ready to go.
