Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Friday, January 20, tease that it’ll break John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) heart to deny Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) dying wish. All Marlena wants to do is go home, but John will fear she won’t make it in this condition.
However, Marlena won’t want to die in a hospital bed, so John will settle on a creative alternative.
Days spoilers say John will agree to take Marlena up to the rooftop, so it’ll be like a farewell gift for his true love.
Meanwhile, Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) will help Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) work on a surprise that’ll become part of John’s plan.
John will want to help Marlena remember some special memories in her final moments, so Johnny will put together a slideshow with Chanel’s assistance.
Chanel will console Johnny as he braces for Grandma Marlena’s death, so there’ll be some close moments for these exes.
In fact, DOOL spoilers say Johnny and Chanel will nearly kiss!
As luck would have it, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) should come around the corner just in time to witness Chanel and Johnny’s almost lip lock, so she’ll be livid.
Back with Marlena, she’ll slowly fade away as John holds her on the rooftop.
Once the slideshow concludes, John will realize Marlena’s dead and panic as he pushes Sarah to revive her.
Other Days spoilers say Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) will celebrate Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) recent arrest.
Jada and Rafe will be pleased over their teamwork paying off, but Kristen will fume over her predicament.
It looks like Kristen will resort to blackmail with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) again, so she may push him to get her an expensive attorney or bribe a judge for her.
EJ might decide he’s had enough and refuse to let Kristen control him any longer.
Regardless, the truth about EJ’s knowledge of Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) brainwashing will come out soon enough.
Next, Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) will spy Brady with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and completely lose it.
Days spoilers say Rachel will have a total meltdown and accuse Chloe of breaking up her family.
Kristen has been filling Rachel’s head with all kinds of Chloe hate, so that’ll be on full display as Rachel flies into a rage and hurls accusations at her enemy.
Brady may push for some updates to Rachel’s attitude, but he’ll also know his daughter is dealing with some confusing drama right now.
