Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) lonely nights of heartbreak are almost over. DOOL fans know Gwen has been struggling ever since Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) pushed her away, especially since he wound up living with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin).
Now Gwen’s just trying to find a way forward despite all the pain and anger she’s dealing with. Gwen could really use a new love interest – preferably a handsome bad boy that she can relate to.
That’s where Days cast addition Dimitri Von Leuschner (Peter Porte) comes in. It looks like Megan Hathaway (Miranda Wilson) will be revealed as Dimitri’s mother, so that news makes him a member of the DiMera family.
Dimitri is currently holding Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) hostage on a fishing boat, but he’ll apparently wiggle out of trouble for that since he’ll end up roaming free around Salem.
That’ll give Dimitri a chance to meet and fall for Gwen sooner or later. Thanks to some behind-the-scenes clues and other hints in Days spoilers, it’s safe to say that Gwen and Dimitri have a love story coming up.
It’ll be interesting to see if Dimitri and Gwen feel a spark right away or if perhaps this will be an enemies-to-lovers situation. Regardless, Days spoilers suggest Gwen and Dimitri will inevitably hit it off at some point and land in bed together.
Dimitri and Gwen just might be the perfect match since they’ve both got a sinister streak. Of course, that could make these two great scheming partners in addition to whatever happens between them romantically.
It’s possible Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) will have a shot with Dimitri as well if Salem’s newest DiMera is bisexual, but Leo could also simply be Gwen’s supportive bestie cheering her.
It’s easy to imagine Leo playing Cupid for Gwen and Dimitri when the time comes, so we’ll see how it all plays out.
Whatever the case, Dimitri just might be the ideal guy for Gwen – though Xander may not agree and show off his protective side!
