Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will find herself drawn to Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte), but she won’t realize he’s scheming. Dimitri needs to make Gwen fall madly in love with him so she’ll accept an ASAP marriage proposal, but secrets could present a problem.
Since this marriage needs to seem legit for Dimitri to get the inheritance money, Megan DiMera (Miranda Wilson) doesn’t want Gwen to know the real story.
However, Days spoilers say Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) is quite protective of his BFF and will smell a rat!
Since Leo knows how to uncover a scoop for his Lady Whistleblower column, he could easily find out that Dimitri needs an instant wife.
Leo may uncover Dimitri and Megan’s plot, so he could blab it to Gwen and warn that she can’t marry this guy.
Of course, Days spoilers say Gwen will have a few options on how to proceed if that happens.
It’s possible Gwen will confront Dimitri and force him into an agreement where she’ll get half the money once they divorce in a year.
Then again, it’s also possible Gwen will want revenge more than she wants to boost her bank account!
Gwen may feel like a fool for falling for Dimitri’s charms and determine that she couldn’t possibly spend a whole year with him for a husband.
In that case, Gwen would be smart to let the clock run out on Dimitri’s time to find a replacement bride.
Perhaps Gwen could accept a proposal and make sure they cut it close with their wedding date – like if they get married the day before Dimitri’s 40th birthday.
From there, Gwen could dump Dimitri at the altar and leave him reeling, though it may not be for the reason Gwen thinks.
At that point in this DOOL storyline, Days spoilers suggest Dimitri may truly be in love with Gwen.
Megan is the one who cares most about the Von Leuschner fortune anyway, so it’d be romantic if Dimitri went to Gwen the day after his birthday and proposed marriage for real.
Maybe Dimitri will prove he genuinely wants to marry Gwen and that the money doesn’t even matter anymore.
