Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that an interesting photo of Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) has been released. It shows Gwen in a wedding dress posing with a beaming Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte). However, there is a third party in the picture: Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart). Could the photo imply that head writer Ron Carlivati is making another controversial storyline?
Megan Hathaway DiMera’s Push
DOOL spoilers reveal that when Dimitri came to town, everyone was curious about his story.
Of course, the fact that he is Megan Hathaway DiMera’s (Miranda Wilson) son doesn’t help matters.
Soon after Dimitri’s arrival, he hoped to play the field. However, Megan had other ideas and pushed Dimitri to marry Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk).
Although Kristen is adopted, both her and Dimitri slammed the icky idea. So, Megan’s next suggestion was for Dimitri to marry Gwen.
Dimitri has already proposed to Gwen and apparently, their wedding is coming up rather quickly.
DOOL Spoilers: Leo Stark’s Betrayal
While Gwen is completely smitten with Dimitri, Leo has been trying to warn his BFF. Leo even confronted Megan about it.
Gwen seems determined to marry Dimitri, though. However, don’t expect Gwen to be completely in the dark about Dimitri and Leo’s unexpected romance.
Dimitri von Leuschner Exposed
Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Dimitri sends Leo a scandalous text message. This text message just happens to be seen by Gwen.
Now, Dimitri might claim that he accidentally sent it to Leo instead of Gwen.
Dimitri might also tell Gwen that his phone was stolen and someone is trying to “create” scandal. Dimitri might even tell Gwen that Leo probably did it himself.
Even though Gwen will want to believe Dimitri, she could put her rose-colored glasses back on. Gwen clearly attends her wedding to Dimitri, per the photo.
However, the look on Gwen’s face along with Leo wrapping his arms around Dimitri indicates Carlivati could be trying something new on daytime TV.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: ‘Throuple’ Solution?
Rikaart recently spoke to TV Insider. While the actor didn’t say much about Leo’s current storyline, he did hint at something.
“Right now, it’s particularly fun. We’re getting into the meat and potatoes of the story with me, Emily and Peter, which is such a great happy reunion as we’ve all been on Y&R… We’re doing some fun stuff. It’s a bit trailblazing in that it’s a love triangle involving a gay man [Leo] and a straight woman [Gwen] fighting over the same guy [Dimitri], who is bisexual.”
The keyword here seems to be “trailblazing.”
Fans watched a few months ago as Allie Horton (Linsey Godfrey) got into a love triangle with Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman). There was also Chanel and Allie’s threesome with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson).
Could the next “trailblazing” storyline be a “throuple” between Dimitri, Gwen and Leo?
Even though Dimitri is manipulating and deceiving Gwen, he does seem to care about her on some level. So, maybe Dimitri and Gwen will both see a “throuple” with Leo as a win/win.
After all, Leo and Gwen are super close, even for platonic friends. As for Dimitri, he seems to be no stranger to controversy or scandal, so stay tuned!
