Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) situation will get worse before it gets better! Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) doesn’t know what Ava’s truly up against at this point, but that could change in the coming weeks.
DOOL fans know Gil Carter (David S. Lee) tried to assault Ava and ended up deceased as a result. Tripp was horrified and angry when he got updates on that, so he may be keeping a closer eye on Ava from now on.
Of course, Tripp could grow suspicious of Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) now that he’s sliding into Gil’s old spot. Clyde Weston (James Read) is in charge here, but Tripp might eventually find a way to turn the tables.
Days viewers know Tripp has a sinister side that’s been dormant for a while now. It’d be easy for Days writers to awaken that side again and perhaps have Tripp go after Clyde’s Achilles heel.
Clyde spends so much time threatening the loved ones of his employees, but what if someone – namely Tripp – realizes what’s really going on and decides enough is enough.
Desperation and fury could drive Tripp to go after somebody Clyde cares about as part of a plot to gain the upper hand. Is Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) in danger since Clyde still loves his son in his own twisted way?
Ciara Weston (Victoria Konefal) had one child with Ben and has another bun in the oven, but Tripp could put their family at risk if he kidnaps Ben or threatens him somehow.
After all, Robert Scott Wilson is still being featured regularly as Alex Kiriakis, so there’s no reason why he couldn’t make an appearance as Ben, too.
If things head south in this partnership with Ava, Tripp might even feel like he has to do something to spare Ava’s life and put him in the driver’s seat over Clyde.
In other words, this Days storyline may become about more than Ava saving Tripp from an attack; this could also become about Tripp saving Ava once he finally knows the truth.
Unfortunately, there’s always a risk that a plot like this could backfire and provoke Clyde even further. If Tripp dares to mess with Ben, then it could end up being a temporary victory and truly unleash Clyde’s wrath.
