Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Sloan Petersen’s (Jessica Serfaty) mistake will eventually come back to haunt her. Now that Sloan has deceived Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) about the DNA test using her own sample, she’s created a secret that’s going to blow up in her face.
It’s just a matter of how Sloan will get caught – and we can think of one Days character who’d be the perfect person to expose her shady actions.
Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) doesn’t trust Sloan and probably never will since she withheld vital information about Colin Bedford (Jasper Newman).
There’s been plenty of tension between these two, including in Days’ June 5 episode when Jada barged in Sloan’s place with a search warrant.
That’s also when Sloan gave Jada updates on Eric potentially being the father of Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) baby, but she obviously knew that paternity test would come back negative due to her trick.
Jada is in the loop on the baby drama now, so that could pull her into this storyline.
That’s especially true since Jada almost had Eric’s baby before backing out of the idea and deciding to get an abortion.
That was Jada’s choice to make, but she still disappointed Eric by agreeing to co-parent a child with him and then terminating the pregnancy behind his back.
Eric was blindsided and went down a rough path after that devastating news.
Jada ultimately didn’t want to raise a child with Eric, but it’d be nice if she could be the one to give him a second chance baby by uncovering the truth.
Since Jada is a detective, it’d be easy for her to snoop and pick up on some clues as this storyline moves along.
Jada might even overhear Sloan admitting what she’s done if she winds up confiding in someone.
Of course, Sloan’s latest deception means that either Eric or EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) could still be the father, but DOOL writers wouldn’t go to all this trouble just to make EJ the father in the end.
This Days storyline is clearly meant to give Nicole and Eric a child, so Sloan’s secret will definitely explode when the time is right.
Sloan will suggest having a baby of her own with Eric during the week of June 12-16, so she’ll keep digging a bigger hole for herself.
Eric surely already has a kid on the way with Nicole, but at least we know the truth will come out sooner or later!
