Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that some familiar faces will return for Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) upcoming memorial service. CDL previously reported insider leaks about Jen Lilley’s comeback as Theresa Donovan – and now SOD is confirming the news.
As for when Lilley will step back into Theresa’s shoes, you can expect her to appear in Salem again during the week of August 28-September 1.
After Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) gets another round of grim updates, Days spoilers say he’ll feel confident that Victor was indeed on board the Titan jet that crashed.
Once Victor’s loved ones face the facts, they’ll all gather to say goodbye to Victor with a heartfelt memorial service.
Theresa will want to be there for Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and may bring their son, Tate Black (last played by Colin and Kyle Schroeder), back to town as well.
Although Theresa had a complicated relationship with Victor, he respected the sacrifice she made when she went to Mexico with Mateo aka “El Fideo” (Andoni Gracia), her dangerous drug lord ex.
Theresa knows Victor had a good heart when it came to the love he had for his family, so Days spoilers say she’ll make an appearance at this memorial service and remember him.
Of course, we should point out that there’s still a recast situation happening down the road.
Jen Lilley will make a brief comeback now, but Emily O’Brien will ultimately exit as Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) and take over the role of Theresa Donovan later on.
However, it’ll be nice to have Lilley playing the part one last time before O’Brien swaps Days characters.
DOOL fans will be eager to see Lilley’s Theresa interact with everyone she left behind since she’s been living in California for the last few years.
