Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) could decide to follow his heart. DOOL fans know the only reason Johnny lost Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) in the first place was due to the devil’s manipulation.
If Johnny hadn’t been possessed, he might still be married to Chanel right now.
Of course, Chanel later chose Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), but Days viewers just saw their romance crash and burn.
It won’t be long until Chanel updates Johnny on all the awful details and reveals the news that Allie left for New Zealand to start fresh.
Despite Johnny’s interest in Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace), he may immediately consider the possibility of a second chance with Chanel.
Sadly, Wendy feels like more of a backup option for Johnny at this point.
Although Johnny enjoys her company and has made a good team with her on some investigations, Wendy just isn’t the woman he wants deep down.
Days has made it obvious that Johnny is still hung up on Chanel, so this may be a turning point for them.
It could be the start of Chanel and Johnny moving toward a romantic reunion that sticks.
That’s especially true since Wendy will ask Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) to move in with her – and he honestly seems like a better match for Wendy anyway.
Johnny may sense that Wendy wants Tripp deep down, particularly since Days spoilers say he’ll eavesdrop on a significant conversation during the week of March 6-10.
It’s possible that’ll be one between Tripp and Wendy, so Johnny may overhear them talking about their true feelings for each other.
Regardless, Johnny has proven that he can’t stay away from Chanel.
Since Johnny could barely control himself when Chanel was in a committed relationship, it should become even harder once she’s single.
Johnny may eventually ditch Wendy and focus on fighting for Chanel alone.
It’s clear that Johnny is a romantic, impulsive guy – as evidenced by the fact that he married Chanel on a whim in Italy once upon a time.
Knowing Johnny as well as we do, maybe he’ll want to rush into marriage again.
Perhaps Johnny will propose to Chanel once more and suggest they should have a wedding do-over in Italy.
Even if Chanel doesn’t accept the offer just yet, Johnny may insist he wants to remarry her and hope they can make that the goal one day.
Bottom line, Johnny seems poised to do some wild things in the name of love soon enough!
