Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that a desperate Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) might track down Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) and make him a deal. If Rolf can invent a love potion, he’ll try it on Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) to see if it works!
Even though it may not take a love potion, Leo is desperate enough to try one on Sonny to really make him fall hard in love with him.
Undoubtedly, Leo has met the goal of being a disturbing factor to Will Horton, (Chandler Massey) and caused some division between them.
But Leo needs something stronger for Sonny to be able to break the bond and divorce Will for good, sending him straight to him.
A love potion may be extreme, but Rolf agrees he needs a guinea pig, a human one, to test one on. And it so happens he’s been working on exactly that at the direction of Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) to use on Brady Black (Eric Martsolf).
Leo is desperate enough to use his potential paramour as a guinea pig for Rolf to try his love potion on, but Rolf tells him it’s on one condition.
Leo cannot use the entire dose, as there are others in line too – Gabi Hernandez, (Camila Banus), although Rolf did warn Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) it may be too late.
Rolf warned Kristen as well, that it may not break through Brady’s resistance, but she wants to try it anyway.
If only Rolf had thought of that when his master Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) was alive, he could have tried it on Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall).
Since there are some positive feelings in Sonny for Leo, it may work well on him-they need to test if it’s permanent.
Rolf sends Leo back with one tester vial, and instructs him to put it in a food that would be an aphrodisiac, for an extra punch.
Leo knows all about drugging foods and tells Rolf about the Christmas cookies he put a date rape drug in, and Rolf is pleased.
Leo just has to do the same thing with this, and then report back if it works and for how long – it has to last at least a month to six weeks to make sure it’s going to stick.
Unfortunately, the amnesia serum he used on Gabi wore off way too soon, so that’s why he wants the longer trial period.
Leo believes in Rolf and his serums, and he hopes this one is a winner too!
