Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) will have an important announcement to make about the fate of his marriage. Days viewers know Li recently received some bad news from EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), who snapped a pic of Gabi Hernandez’s (Camila Banus) betrayal.
Since EJ caught Gabi and Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) in bed together, he was able to give Li proof that his wife was unfaithful.
Li was hoping to win Gabi over during this six-month period and convince her that they belonged together, but she cheated behind his back instead.
Now that EJ has texted the photo evidence, Days spoilers say Li will have a big decision to make.
Gabi’s infidelity broke the morals clause in her contract, so Li is no longer obligated to surrender his DiMera shares.
However, Li has never truly cared about those shares. This has always been about Li’s efforts to build a future with Gabi – a future that he’s beginning to realize will never happen.
Days spoilers say Li will drop a bomb on Gabi during the week of April 17-21, so he’ll reveal that the deal is off.
Li will divorce Gabi over her betrayal and send his wife to reunite with Stefan since he’s who she truly wants.
Of course, that still leaves the question of what will happen to Li’s shares.
Gabi may assume Li will strip her of the shares as they go their separate ways, but he might surprise her.
Despite all the horrible things Li’s done, he really does adore Gabi.
Li’s made plenty of mistakes, but they’ve all been motivated by how much he wants to win Gabi’s heart.
As for Gabi, she had every right to turn against Li for brainwashing Stefan and trying to kill him permanently at one point.
Li has manipulated things every step of the way, so it’d be a nice gesture if he could let Gabi have the shares anyway.
It’s possible Li will take a more vengeful approach and take the shares back, but it’s equally possible Li will surrender them to prove he’s good at heart and just wants Gabi to be happy.
Either way, DOOL fans can expect Li to set Gabi free, which means she’ll enjoy an official reunion with Stefan and look forward to their next chapter together.
