Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that a desperate Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) may take matters into his own hands. DOOL fans know Megan DiMera (Miranda Wilson) reached out to Li and reeled him in with the promise of a vulnerable widow.
Despite Li’s best efforts to shake off his adoration for Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus), he just can’t seem to let her go.
That’s why Li ultimately got on board with Megan’s plan to eliminate Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) for good and leave Gabi without the love of her life.
If Stefan were to be removed from the picture forever, Li feels like Gabi would remember her feelings for him and focus on their future instead. However, there could be a big problem when it comes to who’ll actually commit the crime.
Li initially worried Megan wanted him to kill Stefan, so she pointed out that he’d tried before! After all, Li wanted to pull the plug on Stefan when he was still on ice and in hiding.
If Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) hadn’t stopped Li, Stefan would be dead right now. In other words, let’s not pretend Li’s some delicate little flower who wouldn’t stoop to killing Stefan himself.
Li could indeed land in a situation where he’s forced to become a hitman down the road, but let’s discuss Megan’s current plan first.
Megan eventually revealed that she wanted Li to bring Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) back to Salem.
Since Megan assumes Li knows where Dr. Rolf is, she’s counting on him to recruit the doc for Harris Michaels’ (Steve Burton) reprogramming.
Of course, Days spoilers say it might not be so easy to brainwash Harris this time around. Harris has far more mental strength now that he’s undergone treatments to get Megan’s orders out of his head.
Perhaps the reprogramming will fail – that is if they can even convince Dr. Rolf to come back to Salem and try it. It’d be kind of repetitive to take Harris down that programmed path anyway, so maybe Li will step up instead.
Even if Megan tries to call things off due to all the family drama her Stefan plot’s created, Days spoilers say it may be too late to stop Li.
Now that Li’s obsession with Gabi has been reignited, he seems determined to make sure Stefan never ties the knot.
With that in mind, Li might grab a gun and shoot Stefan himself – or perhaps he could find a less messy method of attempting to take him out.
Stefan will survive whatever’s in store for him on Days, but there could still be some scary moments.
Regardless, Li’s sinister side is emerging, so that could mean bad news for Stefan and Gabi’s wedding day!
Days of Our Lives spoilers say some great stuff’s coming up as Li goes over the edge, so stay tuned for updates on how far he’ll take this.
