Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) will return for some tense scenes with Orpheus (George DelHoyo) at Statesville. Kate Roberts’ (Lauren Koslow) fate will spark a showdown, so let’s talk about what’s ahead on DOOL.
Since Orpheus is to blame for Kate’s deadly illness, there’s going to be trouble during the week of January 9-13.
Days spoilers say Lucas will have a prickly encounter with Orpheus before John Black (Drake Hogestyn) breaks it up.
Later, Lucas will get updates on Kate’s devastating death, so that’ll spark a full-blown brawl with Orpheus.
The news that Kate didn’t make it will really push Lucas over the edge.
There’ll be some shocking moments as Lucas puts Orpheus in a chokehold and threatens to kill him!
Days spoilers say John will manage to shut down that physical confrontation as well.
Lucas needs to be careful or else he could add more time to his sentence, but his frustration is understandable.
Orpheus is a menace who constantly messes with the lives of people Lucas loves, so it’s easy to see why Lucas will want revenge.
Kate didn’t deserve what Orpheus did to her any more than Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) or Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) did.
Nevertheless, Orpheus was determined to inflict pain on his enemies – and he clearly didn’t mind playing the long game.
Orpheus will feel like his patience has finally paid off, so he’ll presumably rile Lucas up with insensitive remarks about Kate’s demise.
Days spoilers say Orpheus will mess with Lucas even further when he comes along with a peace offering in the aftermath.
Lucas may warn there’s nothing that can make this right, but Orpheus will offer a little gift anyway.
That’ll involve some contraband beer, so it’ll bring plenty of temptation for alcoholic Lucas.
DOOL fans can expect Lucas to battle his old inner demons as he grieves and fumes.
On the bright side, miracles and second chances are the norm in Salem, so look for a back-from-the-dead twist that’ll change everything for Kate and her family.
