Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Megan Hathaway’s (Miranda Wilson) special request could lead to trouble. DOOL fans know Megan convinced Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) to work out a deal that’d allow her to serve her time at Statesville, so he did what she asked.
As long as Megan keeps her end of the bargain and reveals who kidnapped Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), she’ll be transferred to her preferred prison for a 20-year sentence with no possibility of parole.
Of course, there’s a good reason for Days writers to want Megan at Statesville instead of isolated in some ISA facility.
Megan is headed to the same prison as Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), so this will bring an opportunity for all kinds of drama.
For starters, Megan and Kristen are sisters, so there could be a bit of a sibling rivalry that develops.
That’s especially true since Kristen and Megan are both schemers who think they’re smarter than everyone else.
Although Kristen isn’t a DiMera by blood, she’s still more like Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) than any of her other family members.
However, Megan may consider herself the superior sister and act like she’s the one who’d make their father most proud.
Regardless, Megan is the reason Kristen landed back behind bars, so Days spoilers say Kristen will inevitably unleash her wrath.
Since Megan sent Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) to steal the orchid, Kristen wasn’t able to hand it over for the serum and got charged with the murders of all the afflicted women.
The charges will obviously change now that Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) are alive.
Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) is secretly alive too, but that’ll have to be revealed later.
Even so, Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) hates Kristen’s guts and may find a way to keep her locked up for withholding the orchid in the first place.
Kristen was blackmailing Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and threatening the lives of Kayla, Kate and Marlena in the process.
It just makes the most sense for the story if Kristen and Megan are stuck at Statesville together – at least for a while.
If Megan and Kristen become cellmates, that’ll be even better!
Once Days lets these sisters get past their initial conflict, perhaps they could go from foes to friends.
Two heads are better than one when it comes to plotting, so Megan and Kristen may decide they can help each other.
Perhaps Kristen could eventually score her freedom and do Megan’s dirty work on the outside.
Family was always important to Stefano, so Megan and Kirsten may form a twisted bond sooner or later.
