Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Megan Hathaway (Miranda Wilson) is currently on a wild mission involving Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), so that plan will continue to take shape.
However, there’ll be other Days storylines for Megan to get tangled up in when the time is right.
Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) and Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) may have offered a hint about what’s to come during their discussion on DOOL’s February 27 episode.
In that conversation, Anna and Tony wondered about the possibility of Megan trying to gain control of her DiMera Enterprises shares.
Now that Megan is officially back from the dead, she could easily go after her piece of the DiMera pie.
Although Megan is an international fugitive, that didn’t stop escapee Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) from voting via video chat and putting her own shares to good use.
The DiMeras are a shady bunch, so criminal behavior doesn’t necessarily affect voting rights.
Regardless, Megan may ultimately walk free and establish some power in Salem. Let’s consider some clues as we build to Megan’s potential CEO takeover.
For starters, there have definitely been some rumblings about Megan taking over the company in a leadership role.
It makes sense when you consider the situation that’s playing out with Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel).
EJ and Stefan are serving as co-CEOs at the moment, but they’re both plotting to push each other off the DiMera throne.
Stefan repeatedly drugged EJ, which resulted in his brother’s poor performance – including the mistake of leaking sensitive info and causing the stock to plummet.
Now EJ’s set to drug Stefan and try to humiliate him right out of the company in retaliation.
Of course, Days spoilers suggest this situation could end in both Stefan and EJ getting fired or at least demoted.
That could pave the way for a fresh choice to run DiMera Enterprises – namely Megan Hathaway!
Although Megan would have to get off the hook for her crimes, that’s easy enough on Days.
Megan may bribe or threaten the right people to make all her legal woes disappear, which could lead to some leadership updates at DiMera Enterprises.
It’d be great to see Megan take charge, especially since EJ and Stefan are acting like immature brats.
Megan may scheme herself into the CEO spot instead and stun the DiMera brothers along with everyone else.
