Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, February 13, reveals that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) tried to put the blame on Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) when it came to Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) problems.
However, Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) thought Johnny was using Alex as a convenient scapegoat and urged him to own up to his own problematic behavior.
After Paulina heard about Johnny’s interest in Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace), she pushed him to make things right with her and stay away from Chanel.
At Allie’s apartment on Monday’s Days episode, Chanel used her key after finding it in the bottom of her purse.
While Chanel tried to patch things up with Allie, Alex hid under the kitchen table.
Chanel said she knew nothing happened between Alex and Allie, so she was sorry for her accusations.
Allie kept trying to get Chanel to take a walk with her, but Chanel delayed their outing with her heartfelt apology.
Chanel acknowledged that something almost happened with Johnny last night, but she was glad it didn’t because she didn’t want to betray Allie.
After Allie and Chanel made up with a kiss, Alex’s phone rang underneath the table.
Allie acted like it was hers and suggested they should just let it go to voicemail.
Alex managed to turn off the phone, but Chanel was suspicious over the new ringtone.
Once Chanel got her own phone out and called Alex, he was busted. Alex’s phone rang again, so he came out from under the table and claimed this wasn’t what it looked like.
After Alex lied that he slept in the office again like the other night, Chanel asked Allie if that was true. Allie admitted that it wasn’t, so Chanel threw Alex out.
Although Allie confessed to sleeping with Alex, she assured Chanel that it wasn’t planned.
Allie made an emotional speech about Chanel opening up a new part of her and insisted she didn’t want to lose the love they shared.
After Allie begged Chanel to just forget this ever happened, Chanel said she couldn’t.
Since Chanel felt it was best to end things now before they hurt each other even more, she broke up with Allie and walked out the door.
While Chanel cried in the hallway on Monday’s Days episode, a heartbroken Allie sobbed on the sofa.
At the Horton house, Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Cady McClain) refused to let Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) and Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) steal The Spectator, so she was willing to land behind bars.
Gwen called Jennifer’s bluff by phoning Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), but Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) grabbed the phone and made up an excuse for the call.
Once Jack hung up, he insisted he wouldn’t let Jennifer go to prison for this. Jennifer hoped Gwen was finally satisfied after causing so much destruction for her family, but she doubted it would ever be enough.
Gwen pointed out Jennifer was the one who ran over her while on drugs and left the scene.
Xander stopped Gwen from physically attacking Jennifer at one point and felt this conversation was no longer productive.
Although Gwen tried to say something to “Dad” as she left with Xander, Jack warned Gwen to never call him that again.
Afterward, Jennifer apologized to Jack for putting them in this predicament, but he reassured her and made plans for a Valentine’s Day lunch with her at The Bistro.
In the town square on Monday’s Days show, Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) found Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) as he was wrapping up a memo for his gossip column.
Leo gave Sonny updates on Gwen prying The Spectator away from Jack, so Sonny grabbed him when he refused to divulge the details.
Xander interrupted with Gwen on Monday’s DOOL episode and threw Sonny away from Leo moments later.
Sonny was forced to leave without the answers he wanted, but he clearly wasn’t happy about the situation.
At the Kiriakis mansion, Sonny filled Alex in on The Spectator mess and Leo’s gossip column.
After Sonny realized Alex was in a foul mood, Alex hinted about just destroying Chanel and Allie’s relationship.
Meanwhile, Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) was out for a run when she bumped into Wendy.
After Gabi urged Wendy not to give up on Johnny, Wendy decided to call him up and ask if they could meet.
Johnny was trying to compose a text for Wendy when she called, so he rushed right over to the park.
That led to Wendy admitting she changed her mind about Johnny, so they made plans to stream the horror movie they missed as their first date tonight.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Chanel’s breakup news could lead to more issues between Johnny and Wendy, so stay tuned to DOOL.
