Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Monday, January 16, tease that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will turn to Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) for divorce help, but he won’t think she should rush into anything just yet.
Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans) will also reflect on her own criminal past, so Days spoilers say she’ll take pity on Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and suggest Sarah should give him another chance.
Although Sarah has serious trust issues when it comes to Xander, she’ll be tempted to have a change of heart about him.
Sarah can’t just turn her love for Xander off like a switch, so she’ll have a lot to think about.
Next on Monday’s DOOL episode, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will show up at Xander’s motel room and find him in rough shape.
Xander will be in a drunken pit of despair, so Gwen will give him another pep talk and send him to sober up with a shower.
Of course, that’s when Sarah will arrive at the door, so she may jump to the wrong conclusion about why Gwen is there – especially if Xander appears half-naked soon after!
Will Gwen’s presence inadvertently sabotage Xander’s second chance with Sarah?
Regardless, Days spoilers say the situation’s going to get messy and will leave Xander in a tight spot.
It turns out Bonnie’s not going to press charges against Xander, so this legal drama should be swept under the rug with Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) dead and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) at Bayview.
However, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) won’t have those positive updates yet, so he’ll still be working out a potential plea deal with Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) when Will Horton (Chandler Massey) overhears.
Will’s going to stop by the Horton house to get Julie Williams’ (Susan Seaforth Hayes) rosary for her, so that’ll allow him to eavesdrop on Leo and Sloan’s private conversation.
Leo will talk about how he can’t let Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) find out he was involved in the Xander kidnapping drama.
Days spoilers say Leo will spill enough to make Will realize he was right – that Leo is just as shady as ever.
It won’t be long until Will relays that news to Sonny, who’ll feel like Leo deceived him with his reformed act.
Sonny’s going to officially throw Leo out of the Kiriakis mansion and drop this friendship, so Leo will be crushed.
Finally, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will console Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein), who just dumped Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) following his confession.
Alex was remorseful for turning off Stephanie’s phone, but she cut him loose anyway and will cry to Chad over his betrayal.
Since Alex made it so Stephanie couldn’t bid Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) a final farewell, she’ll stand by her breakup decision and won’t be able to forgive him.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say this will give Chad an opportunity to grow even closer to Stephanie, so stay tuned to watch their bond strengthen.
