Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Monday, June 12, reveal that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will ask Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) some questions for The Spectator story she has in the works. It’ll give Dimitri a chance to dazzle Gwen with his answers and leave her intrigued.
Although Dimitri wasn’t looking forward to this interview and lunch with Gwen, he’ll find himself intrigued by her as well.
Megan DiMera (Miranda Wilson) offered updates on Gwen’s backstory in her file, so Days spoilers say that may also stir up some interest for Dimitri.
Dimitri might genuinely see Gwen as a love match possibility soon, but marrying before he turns 40 will be the priority.
Of course, Dimitri won’t like the company Gwen keeps since she’s pals and roommates with Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), but Gwen will likely defend their friendship and may impress Dimitri with her loyalty.
Other Days spoilers say Maggie Kiriakis (Susanne Rogers) will derail Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Chloe Lane’s (Nadia Bjorlin) close moment with a job offer.
It turns out Maggie will want Xander to take over Alex Kiriakis’ (Robert Scott Wilson) old position.
There was a time when Xander would’ve jumped at this opportunity, but he’ll only tell Maggie he’s willing to mull it over.
Xander will now have some reservations about a Titan return since he’s brought Chloe on board at The Spectator and won’t want to bail on her.
Plus, Xander will consider the idea that landing back in Maggie’s orbit could bring him closer to Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) again, but he won’t be so sure that’d be good for him.
Regardless of what happens in his career, Xander will make it clear that he likes Chloe and wants to keep getting to know each other.
Chloe represents a way forward that Xander didn’t think was possible, so he’ll hope to build a future with her.
Next on Monday’s DOOL episode, Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans) will let it slip to Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) that Sarah is pregnant with Xander’s baby.
When Bonnie ends up having a conversation with Xander later, keeping the baby news quiet will become even more difficult.
In the cemetery, Chad will visit Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) grave since it’s been a year since she was murdered.
Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will cross paths with Chad on this somber anniversary and sense that he’s struggling to move on.
Days spoilers say Julie will urge Chad to remember that Abigail would want him to be happy and find love again, so he’ll eventually take his wedding ring off and fully prepare for a new chapter with Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein).
Meanwhile, Stephanie will talk to Alex about Chad’s mourning period and how that’s shaped their relationship.
Alex will listen and offer his perspective, but he’d love to have Stephanie back deep down. Will Alex get his wish eventually?
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Stephanie and Alex will remain in the friend zone for now, but a rekindled romance is possible down the road.
