Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the next two weeks, August 28 to September 8, reveal that Philip Kiriakis’ (John-Paul Lavoisier) will make waves with his latest return to Salem. The week of August 28-September 1 will bring Chloe Lane’s (Nadia Bjorlin) fainting spell now that Philip has turned up alive out of nowhere.
Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will also be shocked to see Philip, so he’ll embrace him until he learns about his faked demise and the prison setup.
Days spoilers say Brady will eventually clobber Philip and threaten to call the cops as his fury erupts.
Of course, Philip will apologize and hope to make amends for his bad decisions.
Although Philip has received mental health treatment, he’ll be willing to face legal consequences if he has to.
However, Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison) will do her best to talk Brady out of pressing charges.
Philip has perhaps been through enough between his mental health problems and the sudden loss of his father, Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston).
Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will struggle to deal with Victor’s fate on top of Bo Brady’s (Peter Reckell) coma and everything else going wrong in his life.
It looks like Shawn will contemplate ending it all, but someone should show up to stop him from sending himself to an early grave.
At the DiMera mansion, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will say something that almost exposes Dimitri von Leuschner’s (Peter Porte) sham marriage and affair with Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart).
There’ll apparently be a close call with Elliot Roth (Darren Richardson), the barrister in charge of making sure Dimitri’s marriage is legit so he can receive his inheritance.
Meanwhile, Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) will try to talk Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) into finishing the game of 20 questions she started with Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus).
Uncle Stefan will do his best to play nice and convince Rachel to spill the secret Kristen’s keeping about Dimitri.
After Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) gives Abe Carver (James Reynolds) a nudge in the right direction, Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) will get a wonderful surprise. Abe will ask Paulina on a date, so she’ll hope this is the start of winning her husband back.
Paulina may decide that even if she can’t jog Abe’s memory, she can charm him and hopefully make him fall in love all over again.
Back with Brady, he’ll be taken aback when Theresa Donovan (Jen Lilley) returns to Salem.
Days spoilers say Theresa will visit Brady to see how he’s coping with the loss of Victor, so they’ll have a chance to reconnect.
Next, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will make a big professional decision after Paulina delivers some updates.
Perhaps Rafe will pass up the chance to be reinstated in the police commissioner role and push for Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) to get promoted instead.
At the hospital, Dick Van Dyke will portray a mystery patient who doesn’t know his name and can’t fit the puzzle pieces of his life together. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will take the lead on helping this intriguing character figure out his past.
During the week of September 4-8, Marlena will recruit Steve and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) for some help solving the mystery. John and Steve will get some clues that could help them nail down this man’s identity.
Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will also meet Van Dyke’s character, so it’ll be interesting to see if they can spark any surprising memories for him.
Across town, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will react to a job offer, so Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) might push him to be Titan’s CEO or at least interim CEO while she grieves for Victor.
Despite the appeal of that proposal, Xander may continue to have reservations about leaving The Spectator – especially since Chloe works there.
Regardless, Xander will get into a heated confrontation with Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) around the time of Victor’s funeral, so Sonny may not approve of Maggie’s suggestion.
Days spoilers indicate that Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) will end up running Titan in the not-too-distant future, so Maggie may turn to him as a backup option.
Maggie will also be busy trying to convince Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) to come clean about her baby’s paternity. Sarah will ultimately go into labor, so we’ll see if Xander plays a role in the upcoming delivery.
At the Salem Inn, Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) and Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) will make another joint effort to have a romantic evening alone. Will Wendy and Tripp finally make love for the first time or will they get interrupted once again?
We should mention that Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) has another crisis coming up at Bayview, where Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) will inadvertently cause more trouble by trying to help.
DOOL spoilers say Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will hear about some of the drama going down at Bayview, so there might be some situation where he’s able to pitch in.
Whatever the case, Tripp might get a phone call about Ava’s latest meltdown.
That could lead to Tripp bailing on Wendy once more – or it could at least throw off the vibe of their night and hinder their lovemaking plans.
EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) doesn’t buy Ava’s mental illness claims and probably wouldn’t care even if he did.
Since EJ believes Ava is responsible for Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) perishing, he’ll move forward with a scheme to wipe Ava off the map.
Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will somehow cause a revenge roadblock for EJ, so any grisly plots will have to wait! It’s a good thing too since all signs point to Susan actually being alive.
Ava will get some sort of memory flash, so that could lead to her remembering that Susan might’ve survived the crash after all.
Finally, Vivian Alamain will return for some Salem shockers and shakeups.
Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) mother will appear right after Victor’s funeral and will quickly cause chaos at the DiMera mansion.
