Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the next two weeks, January 23 to February 3, tease that Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) death will jumpstart the next heavenly phase of the story. During the week of January 23-27, Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) will be the first face Marlena sees as she tries to make sense of her new surroundings.
Meanwhile, John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will mourn along with Marlena’s other loved ones back down in Salem.
There’ll be some emotional scenes as everyone comes to grips with the tragic loss of Marlena, Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) and Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow).
After Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) realizes Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) are still attracted to each other, she’ll get some guidance from Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson).
Unfortunately, there’ll be more issues since Johnny and Chanel won’t be able to keep their hands off each other.
Chanel and Allie’s relationship will be on shaky ground by the end of all this – and Wendy Shin’s (Victoria Grace) romance with Johnny will take some hits, too.
Next, Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) will seek Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) out and put her in charge of a new project.
Stephanie will be hired to help with the fight against Sloan Petersen’s (Jessica Serfaty) lawsuit, so she’ll vow to do whatever she can.
Of course, Paulina may sense that Stephanie is upset and push her to share.
It looks like Stephanie will open up about Alex turning off her phone and making her miss one last farewell to Kayla.
While Paulina fumes over Alex’s actions, Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) will decide he doesn’t like Sloan very much.
Sloan will make a horrible first impression and leave Roman questioning Eric Brady’s (Greg Vaughan) romantic choices.
Days spoilers say Sloan will also face off with Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) before Nicole somehow gets drugged.
It appears Nicole will get tangled up in Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) revenge on EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) by mistake.
Later, EJ will get a big bedroom surprise when Nicole pounces on him in her altered state.
It’ll be interesting to see if EJ stops Nicole or embraces the passionate opportunity without knowing about the drugs.
At some point, EJ will deliver a shocker to Li Shin (Remington Hoffman), who’ll get updates on his lost leverage.
Now that Li has nothing to hold over EJ anymore, he’ll be fired from DiMera Enterprises.
Afterward, Gabi will cause Stefan to lose consciousness and drag him off for a forced deprogramming procedure.
Once Gabi tricks Li into giving her info – presumably about Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (Richard Wharton) location – she’ll be ready for the next step.
During the week of January 30-February 3, Li will realize he’s been duped and wonder what’s really going on.
Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) will end up giving Stefan a call while he’s in captivity, so it seems she may be in on the plot.
DOOL fans know Vivian always has a few tricks up her sleeve, so she’ll catch Stefan off guard.
Days spoilers say Dr. Rolf will deprogram Stefan against his will, but Gabi will battle some worries in the aftermath.
It’ll seem like Gabi’s scheme has backfired initially, but “Stabi” fans shouldn’t worry!
There’ll still be plenty of hope for Stefan and Gabi’s future.
After Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) pushes Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) to put his heart out there and find love again, Chad will take the advice.
Stephanie will reject Alex once more and become more interested in exploring her spark with Chad.
That’ll bring scary new territory for Chad and Stephanie, but they’ll grow closer.
Back with Jack, he’ll have an ultimatum for Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) to mull over.
Gwen may have to move out and even give up her relationship with Jack if she can’t cut Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) out of her life.
Days spoilers say Gwen will make a decision that surprises Xander before they try to make sense of what’s next.
It sounds like Gwen will sacrifice everything for Xander and end up crashing with him at the motel.
Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will be disgusted over the news that Xander and Gwen spent the night together.
Whether Gwen and Xander reconnect passionately just yet or not, they may start to realize they’re perhaps each other’s perfect match.
Across town, Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) will make an unsettling discovery when she spots Alex slipping out of Allie’s room.
It should lead Wendy to the conclusion that Allie cheated on Chanel.
Elsewhere, Paulina will encourage Chanel to fix things with Allie, but she won’t realize a betrayal has seemingly gone down.
Even so, Paulina will have some harsh words for Alex thanks to Stephanie’s pain, so she’ll put him on full blast.
While Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) plots Orpheus’ (George DelHoyo) deadly downfall, the deceased women will face some startling afterlife developments.
Marlena, Kayla and Kate will have some wild encounters in the great beyond.
Look for Kayla to get a warm reunion with a familiar face while Kate spars with a former foe.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say this is all building to a twist that’ll send Kate, Kayla and Marlena back to Salem alive, but the devil is in the details!
