Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will play a key role in saving Lani Grant (Sal Stowers) from Whitley King’s (Kim Coles) clutches. Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) will help with Lani’s rescue as well, so that could be a game-changer once all this Days drama settles down.
As for Abe Carver (James Reynolds), he’ll also be saved and will ultimately find himself on the mend in the hospital.
Once Abe’s no longer under the fog of sedation, his memories may come rushing back.
Of course, Days spoilers say practically all of Salem will be relieved to know Abe is alive.
Abe will have a chance to step back into the role of mayor, so Clint Rawlings (Grayson Berry) won’t have a say in who’s police commissioner anymore.
Thanks to Rafe’s good deed in rescuing Lani and sorting things out with the prison in Maryland, Abe will owe him big time. It’s tough to imagine Abe will let Rafe’s recent firing stand under the circumstances.
There’s a good chance Abe will reinstate Rafe as Salem’s police commissioner, so that’ll be great news if it all works out.
However, it looks like Rafe will have gone public with Jada by then, so he may worry he’ll have to decide between his career and an opportunity at love.
Fortunately, something tells us Abe will fight to have the rule against dating a subordinate changed – or at least tweaked in a way that allows Rafe and Jada to get by with their romantic involvement.
Days spoilers say Jada’s own bravery and persistence won’t go unnoticed by Abe either since she’ll be right there alongside Rafe saving Lani.
DOOL fans have seen Jada work night and day trying to uncover Abe answers, so he’ll surely appreciate the hard work she put in for the sake of finding him – even when things seemed bleak.
Bottom line, Rafe and Jada are doing a lot for Abe, Lani, Paulina Price (Jackée Harry), Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) and everyone else connected to the Carver family.
It’s only fair that this good deed be rewarded, so maybe Abe will eventually give Rafe his police commissioner job back and make it so he’s free to date Jada from now on.
