Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Friday, March 17, reveals that Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) marveled over Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) being alive after all this time and assumed Megan Hathaway (Miranda Wilson) held him captive after reviving him.
Bo said “long time no see” and acted weirdly nonchalant about the whole thing.
After Kate explained that she’d been held prisoner along with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), she insisted they had to find them and escape.
Kate also pointed out that she’d punched Megan and incapacitated her, but Bo insisted that the doors locked automatically so they had to grab Megan’s keys if they wanted to get out.
Once Kate reentered the room with Bo, he stooped down by Megan and woke her up.
Bo made sure Megan was OK before pulling his gun on Kate and warning that she wasn’t going anywhere.
Kate realized Bo wasn’t himself and that he’d been through something, but she tried to get through to him based on their family connections.
Megan snapped that Bo didn’t need a history lesson and didn’t seem concerned at all about Kate changing Bo’s mind.
Since Megan wanted to get phase two started, she insisted they needed the serum.
Kate found it on the floor and smashed the bottle, but Megan thought that was dumb since that serum was the only thing keeping Kate alive.
Now that Megan couldn’t test it on Kate, she saw no point in drawing this out any further.
As Bo continued holding his gun on Kate, Megan said he might as well kill her.
In the other lab on Friday’s Days episode, Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) blocked Marlena and Kayla from exiting.
Since Megan was a DiMera, Dr. Rolf insisted that her wish was his command.
Dr. Rolf talked about the serum that he’d been working on for Megan and how Kate was chosen to be the first test subject.
Kayla and Megan also found out Dr. Rolf kept someone alive in the older cryogenic tube for nearly a decade, but he refused to divulge who it was.
In San Francisco on Friday’s DOOL show, Paul Narita (Christopher Sean) and Andrew Donovan (Colton Little) talked about the connection they shared.
Despite the difficulties in figuring out the logistics, Andrew wanted to take a chance on seeing where this could go – and Paul admitted he wanted that, too.
After making love, Andrew suggested they should discuss what’s next, but Paul just wanted to enjoy this perfect moment a bit longer.
Next on Friday’s Days episode, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) opened a door to find Hope Williams Brady (Kristian Alfonso) on the other side. Hope put her gun down, so John and Steve did the same.
Once Hope hugged Steve and John, they all exchanged info about how they wound up there looking for Megan.
John and Steve admitted Megan stole the orchid and led to their wives’ deaths, so Hope was shocked and said she was so sorry.
After Hope talked about Megan’s old obsession with Bo and all the chaos Megan was still causing, she remained determined to take her down.
It turns out that wasn’t the right location, but Hope refused to give up and called Andrew to ask for a favor.
Andrew’s hot night with Paul was put on hold briefly as he answered Hope’s call.
Hope needed to get in somewhere and see Harris Michaels (Steve Burton), so she was counting on Andrew to help.
Back in Salem on Friday’s Days episode, Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) tried and failed to reach Hope by phone for the umpteenth time.
Since Belle Brady (Martha Madison) was struggling with grief over Marlena’s death, Shawn reflected on his own grief over losing Bo and offered the support Belle needed.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Shawn will get some stunning news when he finds out Bo’s alive down the road, so stay tuned for updates on his family’s miracle.
