Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, May 18, reveals that Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) brought up the fact that Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) accused Talia Hunter (Aketra Sevillian), but she assured Talia that she didn’t believe she was guilty and neither did Paulina Price (Jackee Harry).
Talia acted like Jada was just doing her job and said they worked it all out.
When Chanel suggested moving to the bedroom, Talia agreed and started stripping down with her soon after.
Chanel told Talia that they could stop at any time, but Talia insisted she wanted this just as much as Chanel did.
However, Talia eventually pulled away and insisted she couldn’t do this before adding that she had a confession to make.
At the pub on Thursday’s Days episode, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) found Belle Brady (Martha Madison) and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) in a heated argument about Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty), so she scolded them both and acted like she’s lost her appetite.
Once Eric and Belle were alone, they managed to patch things up. Belle admitted she couldn’t fix things for Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer), so she was trying to protect Eric – though he made it clear that wasn’t necessary.
At the hospital on Thursday’s DOOL show, Sloan realized Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) was taking prenatal vitamins and had lied to Eric about starting menopause.
After Sloan assumed Eric was the father, Nicole pointed out the bio dad could be EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and pushed Sloan to keep this news to herself.
Sloan asked why she should, but Nicole wondered if Sloan really wanted Eric to know she might be pregnant with his baby. Nicole thought if EJ was the father, Eric would never have to find out he was in the running.
Sloan agreed to keep Nicole’s secret right as Marlena appeared, so they both let Marlena know how wonderful it was to see her alive.
After Sloan left, Nicole felt like she might throw up – though she blamed it on Sloan making her want to puke.
Marlena mentioned that Sloan said she’d keep Nicole’s secret, so Nicole repeated the menopause lie and acted like Sloan was taunting her.
At the Salem PD on Thursday’s Days episode, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) checked with Scotland Yard’s records and realized Colin Bedford (Jasper Newman) had been arrested on assault charges five years ago in London.
Rafe also recognized the name Bedford since that was Martha Bedford’s married name.
Jada questioned why Sloan went by Petersen, so Rafe explained that she used her mother’s maiden name when she came to Salem to keep her vengeful plans under wraps.
After Rafe confirmed that Colin was Sloan’s brother, Jada realized this gave Talia a motive through her boyfriend and that she must’ve been helping him.
Although Talia claimed she broke up with Colin, Jada wasn’t sure what was true anymore and felt that they had to confront her sister with what they knew so far.
Since Talia wasn’t answering her phone and usually ate lunch at the pub, Rafe and Jada decided to see if she was there.
Meanwhile, Sloan entered the pub and had a surprisingly civil interaction with Belle before joining Eric at a table. Eric asked if everything went OK at the hospital since Sloan seemed a little off.
After Jada and Rafe entered looking for Talia, they found Sloan instead and wanted to talk to her about her brother.
At Sweet Bits, Colin asked questions as he pretended to be an American health inspector named Cameron Frye.
Paulina and Abe Carver (James Reynolds) offered to get Chanel over there for the inspection, but Colin said that wasn’t necessary and preferred to deal with just the two of them for now.
Colin talked to Abe and Paulina about the drugged biscuits as well as Paulina’s belief that Sloan was responsible for a string of incidents – and for no good reason!
That led to Colin insisting he read in the papers how Sloan actually had a very good reason for going after Paulina. Colin mentioned Chanel pushing Sloan’s mother off a building, but Paulina and Abe felt that he didn’t have his facts straight.
Abe and Paulina got agitated as they put the blame on Martha for luring Chanel into a trap and forcing her to defend herself.
Colin pointed out that Chanel had an affair with Martha’s husband, Nathan Bedford, but Abe and Paulina insisted he took advantage of his much younger student.
There was also a discussion about the office break-in and the menacing texts Paulina had received, so Colin wound up noting that one said for Paulina to watch her back.
Paulina and Abe eventually realized Colin knew more than he was letting on, so Colin picked up a rolling pin and knocked Abe out with it.
That left Paulina wondering why Colin would do that, so Colin reverted to his usual British accent and said he already told her that her husband couldn’t save her.
Colin looked ready to attack Paulina with that rolling pin next and left her screaming as Thursday’s Days episode wrapped up.
