Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, May 2, reveals that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) showed Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) the new Lady Whistleblower column, which asked if the kissing cops would get canceled.
On Tuesday’s Days episode, Jada fumed as she realized Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) must’ve leaked the story to Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart).
Rafe was looking forward to throwing the book at “that bitch” Sloan, but Jada still seemed reluctant to believe she was guilty.
Since Rafe assumed Jada was hung up on her suspicions about Talia Hunter (Aketra Sevillian), he pointed out that her sister had no motive.
Meanwhile, Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) caught up with Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) outside Sweet Bits, which had a notice on the door from the health department.
Chanel admitted they’d been shut down and seemed to think her bakery dream was a thing of the past, but Paulina vowed to fix this and wanted to talk to Abe Carver (James Reynolds) along with the health inspector.
Paulina crossed paths with Jada at the Salem PD, so that gave Jada a chance to ask more questions about the office break-in.
Of course, Paulina was convinced that Sloan was to blame since the break-in happened the same day Sloan’s civil case was dismissed.
Jada acknowledged that the timing was suspicious, but there was no sign of forced entry – and that meant the person responsible must’ve used a key.
After Paulina insisted the only key had been in her bag, she suggested Sloan might’ve stolen during their confrontation.
Paulina pointed out it happened at the same time Chanel introduced her to Talia, so the wheels just kept turning for Jada.
In Colin’s (Jasper Newman) motel room on Tuesday’s Days episode, he showed Talia the Lady Whistleblower column about Jada and Rafe, which left her feeling guilty since this happened because of the drugged biscuits.
Colin assured Talia that she was helping him get justice and thought this was the perfect time to turn the heat up on Chanel.
When Colin pushed Talia to make her move on Chanel and break her heart, Talia insisted she wasn’t gay or even bi.
Colin was the only person Talia wanted, but he insisted this wouldn’t be real on her end.
After Colin promised they’d be so happy together once Chanel paid the price, Talia assured him that she was still on board with the plan and made love to him.
Back with Chanel on Tuesday’s DOOL show, she stopped by Rafe’s office to apologize for the drugged biscuits, but he insisted it wasn’t necessary.
Chanel saw a framed photo on Rafe’s desk of Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Henry Horton (Clyde and Nash Gunderson) in New Zealand, which left her emotional since Henry had grown so much and Allie looked so happy.
Rafe mentioned that Allie was meeting new people, so Chanel assumed she was seeing someone else and rushed out in tears.
After Chanel made it back to the bakery, Talia met up with her and found out she wasn’t doing well at all.
Once Talia suggested she could make her feel better, she surprised Chanel by planting a kiss.
In Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) suite on Tuesday’s Days episode, she scolded Leo for racking up another hefty room service bill and insisted they needed to find a cheaper place to live.
Moments later, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) arrived and privately admitted to Gwen that he didn’t think they should see each other anymore.
Gwen tried to object at first since she didn’t mind Alex using her to move on, but he thought she was better than this.
Alex opened up to Gwen about what he’d learned in therapy with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and didn’t think this was a healthy situation for either of them.
Over with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and Xander Cook (Paul Telfer), they checked out a potential new apartment that was a real steal.
Xander felt they had to snatch it up fast, but Chloe struggled with the idea of making a major life decision so fast – though she did like the place.
When Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) appeared, he admitted he was looking for an apartment to move in with Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) and learned Chloe planned to live with Xander.
Leo also showed up hoping to check the place out and live there with Gwen, so he teased Xander, Chloe and Brady about this being a Three’s Company situation.
Xander broke Leo’s pencil and threatened him, so Leo admitted he was just kidding and that no one would be interested in a column on that anyway.
As for the future of this apartment, Xander insisted he got there first and was moving in with Chloe.
Brady wondered if Chloe would just let Xander make the decision for her, but Xander noted that he was footing the bill.
When Brady said it sounded like Chloe was a kept woman, she insisted she’d be making her own money soon and high-fived Xander over taking the apartment.
Afterward, Brady met up with Chloe alone and urged her not to get involved with Xander since it’d be a mistake.
As for Xander, he returned to the motel and saw Colin in the hallway.
Since Colin was entering the same room that Talia came out of earlier, Xander was intrigued.
“Oh hey, I thought that was bakery girl’s room, no?” Xander asked.
Finally, Leo reconvened with Gwen, who offered updates on Alex dumping her.
Although Leo knew the timing was terrible, he shocked Gwen with the news that Chloe was shacking up with Xander.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gwen will have a chance to wallow in heartbreak soon, so stay tuned to DOOL.
