Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will get some horrible news during the week of August 14-18. After Shawn receives updates on Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) missing plane, he’ll immediately fear the worst.
Unfortunately, Shawn will later get confirmation that Victor’s jet has been involved in a shocking accident.
There’ll apparently be no survivors following a plane crash, so Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) will find out and spread the word.
Of course, Days spoilers say there’ll be plenty of sad Salemites once everyone learns Victor will never make it back.
Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) was planning a big homecoming dinner with all Victor’s favorite foods, but he’ll never get a chance to join them at the table ever again.
Likewise, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will have to live with regrets since he was never able to talk things out with Victor and fix their family bond.
However, it’ll be Shawn who suffers the most since he’ll blame himself for the plane crash even happening at all.
It obviously won’t be Shawn’s fault that the jet went down, but he’ll still hold himself responsible for his grandfather even being on that flight.
DOOL fans will recall that Victor’s latest trip involved a visit to Bo Brady (Peter Reckell).
If Shawn hadn’t made a wrong split-second decision and fired at his father, Bo wouldn’t have been comatose at a facility across the world.
Instead, Bo might’ve been happily catching up with friends and family members in Salem right about now.
Days spoilers say that’s why Shawn will blame himself for Victor taking that flight and never getting off it.
It’ll be a double whammy of guilt since Shawn already feels so awful about Bo being stuck in a coma while Hope Williams Brady (Kristian Alfonso) desperately waits for a miracle.
Sadly, there’ll be no miracle for Victor since this plane crash is happening to give John Aniston a proper sendoff.
This is Victor’s official Days exit, so Shawn will lose it over the unexpected loss and spin out more than ever before.
It could cause a serious setback in Shawn’s therapy and lead to him drinking himself into oblivion once more.
Shawn could potentially rely on some destructive behavior to cope as Victor’s memorial service draws near.
