Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers indicate that Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will continue to deal with horrible guilt over what happened in Greece. Shawn only wanted to protect Hope Williams Brady (Kristian Alfonso), but he misjudged the situation and is now suffering the consequences.
Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) would be living happily ever after with Hope right now if Shawn hadn’t pumped a bullet in him and put his father in a coma.
The fact that Bo had been “dead” for so long makes all this even worse since he was finally ready for a second chance with his wife and family.
Now Shawn feels responsible for yanking all that away since Bo is comatose in a long-term care facility.
There’s no way of knowing if or when Bo might wake up, so Shawn just doesn’t see any way out of the pit of despair that he’s fallen into.
DOOL fans know Belle Brady (Martha Madison) was surprised to find Shawn drunk when she came home recently.
Just as soon as Shawn’s plane landed, he started throwing back beers in an effort to forget all his pain, anger and remorse.
Shawn was ready to confront Megan DiMera (Miranda Wilson) until Belle stopped him from leaving, which could’ve been a disaster.
Belle obviously didn’t want Shawn driving drunk, but what happens if she’s not there to take the keys away next time?
During the week of June 12-16, Days spoilers say Belle will find Shawn spiraling out of control. Shawn will once again want to drink his problems away, but Belle will do her best to intervene.
Unfortunately, Shawn is too upset to truly listen to Belle and seems to just view her as a nag right now.
This may turn into a situation where Shawn doesn’t listen to all Belle’s warnings and ultimately pays the price as a result.
Since Days is sticking with this drinking theme, there’s bound to be a moment when Shawn hits rock bottom. Could Shawn indeed get behind the wheel while intoxicated and cause a crash?
Shawn could put his own life in jeopardy as well as the lives of others – not to mention his career at the Salem PD might be over.
Belle may not be able to stop Shawn from making things worse by relying on alcohol instead of leaning on her for support. If a drunk-driving accident happens on Days, it could bring major ramifications.
