Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Shawn Brady’s (Brandon Beemer) mental health has been suffering ever since he pulled the trigger on his own father. Shawn believed Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) posed a threat to Hope Williams Brady’s (Kristian Alfonso) life, but Hope had already gotten through to Bo when he fired the shot.
Now that Bo’s stuck in a coma, Shawn is struggling with the guilt of knowing it’s his fault.
Of course, Shawn isn’t really to blame, but he still feels that way under the circumstances.
However, Shawn definitely has some blame left over for Megan Hathaway (Miranda Wilson) since she’s the one who programmed Bo to be that way in the first place.
DOOL fans know Megan saved Bo’s life, but then she hid his survival from Bo’s family and manipulated his mind.
That’s on top of Megan’s many other crimes, so Days spoilers say her immunity deal and prison release news will take a toll on Shawn.
This could certainly affect Shawn’s fragile mental state since he’ll know Megan’s out roaming around free while Bo’s struggling to recover.
Plus, Shawn has been pushing Belle Brady (Martha Madison) away instead of leaning on her for support.
Belle is the person who matters most to Shawn, but he’s keeping emotional walls up with her – and Days spoilers say that could send him down a troubling path.
Could all this lead to a mental break of some sort for Shawn? The pressure may become too much for Shawn to bear and drive him to do some pretty unhinged things.
It’s easy to imagine Shawn snapping under the circumstances and plotting to eliminate Megan for good.
Days viewers can tell that Shawn isn’t doing well at all, so he might go off the rails.
Maybe there could be some situation where Shawn threatens to shoot Megan and put her in a coma or an early grave depending on what fate decides.
Shawn surely won’t think it’s fair for Megan to be out living her life when Bo can’t be with his loved ones, so he may take Megan’s punishment into his own hands.
That could leave Belle in a tough spot and leave her scrambling to stop Shawn before it’s too late!
