Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will seek a new lawyer as he prepares for some courtroom drama. There’s no denying that Xander has a terrible past, but he’s determined to fight for his little girl and be a real father to her.
That’s why Xander won’t give up on pulling off a win and raising his child.
Days spoilers say Xander will decide he needs a better attorney, so he’ll turn to one who’s proven she’s willing to get ruthless if that’s what it takes to win.
Of course, we’re talking about Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty), who pretty much has a reputation for being the shadiest lawyer in town.
Sloan knows that sometimes you have to sink low to rise above your opponent in court, so she may remind Xander of that during their first strategy session.
In other words, Sloan may argue that Xander can’t get soft on her and decide he wants to go easy on Sarah Horton Brady (Linsey Godfrey).
Perhaps Sloan will warn Xander to shove down any old feelings that might bubble up and focus on the goal of raising his daughter.
Victoria Horton is Xander’s fresh and blood, so he wants a connection with her and has to be willing to fight hard if he’s going to emerge victorious.
Days spoilers say Xander will assure Sloan that he’s on board, so they’ll talk about what tactics they’ll use with the judge.
It looks like Sloan will agree to help Xander seek full custody, which will definitely be a challenge when he’s got a criminal record that’s a mile long.
Nevertheless, DOOL fans know Sloan doesn’t like to lose and will have a few tricks up her sleeve.
Xander should be impressed with Sloan’s approach, but there’s someone else who won’t be!
Days spoilers say Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will blow his top when he realizes Sloan has agreed to represent Xander in the custody case.
That’ll leave Eric wondering what Sloan is thinking, so he’ll blast her for trying to help Xander take Sarah’s baby away from her.
Sloan may remind Eric that Victoria is Xander’s baby as well and argue that it’s unfair for Sarah to shut Xander out like this.
Despite Xander’s messed-up history, Sloan may feel like he deserves a proper place in Victoria’s life.
