Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) will grow increasingly desperate to lock in a future with Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan). Of course, Sloan already made a bold move when she swabbed her own cheek and passed it off as Eric’s sample for the DNA test.
DOOL writers have left the true paternity of Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) unborn child a mystery, but it’s obvious that Eric must be the “baby daddy.”
Sloan just couldn’t take the gamble of losing Eric if he was the father, so she robbed him of the chance to raise this child.
Since Sloan loves Eric and wants him to be happy, she may battle a guilty conscience.
Sloan isn’t exactly the motherly type, but she’ll be willing to become a mom anyway – and that could mostly be due to the DNA deceit.
During the week of June 12-16, Days spoilers say Sloan will push Eric to make a baby together, so he’ll definitely be caught off guard.
Once Eric gets updates on Sloan’s baby plan, he may worry that Sloan is doing this for all the wrong reasons and assure her that there’s no rush.
However, Sloan might insist she genuinely wants to settle down with Eric and start a family with him.
That may even be true on some level since Eric is unlike any man that Sloan’s ever known.
Even so, we’d say guilt could be a big factor in why Sloan’s offering this replacement baby.
Sloan might tell herself that if she gives Eric a child, then it doesn’t matter whether Nicole’s baby belongs to him or not.
Naturally, Sloan might also want to distract Eric from Nicole and her own baby drama.
Days spoilers say Sloan may be jealous since Eric’s still going to fret over pregnant Nicole, even while he’s in the dark on the true father status.
If Eric doesn’t get on board, Sloan could always go off birth control and get pregnant anyway.
The longer this Days storyline goes on, the more obsessed Sloan may become with Eric and their future.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sloan’s drastic attempts to keep Eric by her side are bound to end in disastrous news, so stick with DOOL.
