Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will have a secret meeting with Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) and propose peace between them. DOOL fans know EJ genuinely tried to protect Stefan from Megan DiMera (Miranda Wilson), so he’ll point that out to his brother during the week of July 17-21.
When EJ realized Megan was plotting to eliminate Stefan for good, he hoped to stop her before it was too late.
That’s what led to EJ getting stuck in the DiMera tunnels with Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), so he faced consequences for trying to protect Stefan.
Of course, Stefan won’t know if he can really trust EJ’s side of the story, but he’ll sense that maybe EJ really did want to save him.
That’ll mean something to Stefan as EJ insists all the fighting between them has gone on long enough.
Days spoilers say EJ will push for peace and argue that they need to focus on a different enemy.
Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) is an outsider and a DiMera wannabe as far as EJ’s concerned, so he’ll seek Stefan’s help to get rid of him.
Since Dimitri is quite the mama’s boy, EJ will contend that he can’t be trusted.
For all EJ and Stefan know, Dimitri could still be carrying out Megan’s twisted plans, so they’ll agree that he can’t be part of the DiMera inner circle.
Although Stefan won’t completely trust EJ either, Days spoilers say he’ll at least trust him more than Dimitri at this point.
With that in mind, Stefan will agree to the truce that EJ’s proposing and stand with him as they try to kick Dimitri out of the DiMera mansion.
It’ll be Kristen who steps up to defend Dimitri’s place in the family home, so Stefan and EJ won’t understand what angle she’s working.
Regardless, Days spoilers say EJ and Stefan will decide not to push too hard on this.
This might be an idea that they revisit later, but Stefan and EJ will agree to let Dimitri stick around for now.
On the bright side, that’ll give EJ and Stefan a chance to watch Dimitri more closely.
Since Stefan and EJ will consider Dimitri to be the real foe within the family, that’ll go a long way toward easing the tension between the brothers.
