Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) just got back together, but now it seems their reunion is doomed to fall apart!
Camila Banus recently announced that she’s leaving the show and has already filmed her final scenes as Gabi, so what does that mean for Stefan?
There’s no news on Brandon Barash exiting Days at this point, so it looks like Stefan will stick around despite Gabi’s departure.
It’s good that Barash will seemingly keep his job, but that also means there won’t be a happily ever after ending for “Stabi.”
Gabi can’t ride off into the sunset with Stefan if he stays at DOOL, so that means a heartbreaking split should be in their future.
Of course, the easiest way to write Gabi out is to send her off to New Zealand, where Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) are currently raising Arianna Horton (Lane Rosa).
Gabi is undoubtedly missing her daughter, so she could join Sonny and Will in co-parenting over there.
Then again, Will and Sonny might be living somewhere else by the time Gabi’s exit airdate arrives, but it makes sense for Gabi to go live near Ari – wherever she may be.
Banus’s last day of filming was April 28, but it’ll be several months before Days fans actually see her final scenes air on the show.
Will something happen that causes Gabi and Stefan’s romance to crumble? Could that result in Gabi’s decision to leave Stefan and everyone else in Salem behind?
Regardless, Stefan and Gabi will apparently be forced apart due to Banus’ choice to exit Days.
That could open the door to some other romantic possibilities once Stefan gets over the blow of losing the woman he thought was the love of his life.
