Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Talia Hunter (Aketra Sevillian) will be released from the hospital and hauled off to jail. DOOL fans know Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) had no choice but to arrest Talia once Colin Bedford’s (Jasper Newman) scheme blew up.
During a tearful confession to Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens), Talia admitted to doing Colin’s dirty work.
Although Talia drugged the biscuits, broke in Paulina Price’s (Jackée Harry) office and pretended to date Chanel, she never felt good about any of it.
Talia only wanted to help Colin find a way beyond all the pain and anger.
Despite Talia trying to call off the plan multiple times, Colin always managed to pull her back into his plot.
There were moments when Talia seemed almost scared of Colin – like he might turn physical if he got angry enough.
Now that we’ve seen what Colin was capable of on that roof, it’s easy to see why Talia would be fearful!
However, Talia mostly just wanted Colin to love her.
Colin made Talia feel like dirt if she dared to go against him and showered her with affection when she carried out his twisted plans.
Talia was manipulated, so Jada will understand that as she grills Talia during the week of May 29-June 2.
Days spoilers say Talia will open up a bit more about what her relationship with Colin was like, so Jada will think it sounds like her sister was a victim of emotional abuse.
Of course, this is something that could certainly be used in Talia’s legal defense. It’ll be interesting to see who Talia’s lawyer is under the circumstances.
Belle Brady (Martha Madison) might take Talia’s case – though that’d leave her with some explaining to do during her next conversation with Chanel and Paulina.
Even so, Belle might think Talia deserves the proper legal representation and agree to help.
Talia grew to care about Paulina and Chanel while she was plotting against them, so she now regrets ever targeting them.
At the same time, Talia was desperate to please Colin, who made her feel like the key to their future happiness was pulling this off.
Now Talia’s freedom may depend on whether she can minimize her own role in this mess and put the blame on Colin.
Talia may be ready to take responsibility for her actions, but a legal strategy that’s based on the emotional abuse she endured may be the most effective.
