Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Tate Black will return and cause major drama for his parents, Theresa Donovan (Jen Lilley) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). There’ll be a classic case of SORAS – that’s Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome – that brings an older version of Tate to the canvas.
DOOL fans know Theresa decided not to pull Tate out of school for Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) funeral, so she simply came back to represent her son.
Of course, Theresa’s real reason for returning was to make a move on Brady and try to score a romantic reunion.
That plan didn’t work out very well, so Theresa’s moving to a new backup plan involving Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson).
Although Theresa does find Alex hot and intriguing, she’s at least partly using him to make Brady jealous.
However, Theresa may ultimately try another tactic to grow closer to Brady – one involving Tate and the trouble he’s stirring up.
During the week of September 18-22, Days spoilers say Brady will deliver some alarming news to Theresa about Tate, who’ll apparently cause issues at his boarding school.
It’s possible Tate’s having some outbursts in his classes or getting into fights with other students. Tate’s teachers might be complaining – or maybe he could even get kicked out of school entirely.
In that case, it’d create a simple excuse for Theresa to bring Tate back to Salem and enroll him in a new school there.
Once Theresa gets updates on Tate’s problematic behavior, she may admit to Brady that their son clearly needs both parents right now.
Although that’ll be true, Days spoilers say Theresa could perhaps be manipulative and use Tate to her advantage here.
Tate could become something for Brady and Theresa to bond over as they try to help him get back on the right path.
There’s no confirmation on the new actor playing Tate just yet, but he’s definitely coming back aged up a bit.
Days recast the role with someone older, so Tate is an angsty teenager now.
