Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Theresa Donovan’s (Emily O’Brien) plan could hit a huge snag, so she may have to think fast and take her scheme to the next level. DOOL fans know a forged letter is the only proof that Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) is Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) secret heir, so it’s not surprising that a DNA test may finally be coming into play.
Victor’s will indicated that he was leaving half his fortune to the son he’d never acknowledged, so there’s a lot of money on the line here.
It makes sense that Alex would have to prove he’s truly meant to receive this massive inheritance.
During the week of November 27-December 1, a looming DNA test will create some tension.
Of course, Days is keeping things vague, but this might have something to do with Alex working out all the details for his big payday.
Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) is certain that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) is Victoria Horton’s father, so there’s no doubt about the outcome of any DNA test she might have done.
There might have to be a paternity test to change Victoria’s birth certificate, but these Days spoilers about tension makes it seem like someone could have concerns about the results.
That doesn’t really fit for Xander and Sarah since the DNA test would just be a formality.
Plus, it looks like Sarah and Xander are on the verge of a turning point where they’ll get along a bit better as co-parents.
Xander’s dropping the custody suit and will figure out a more amicable solution with Sarah, so maybe we need to explore another option for this tension-inducing DNA test Days has promised.
Theresa and Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) would certainly be tense if Alex announces he needs DNA results to prove he should receive half of what Victor left behind.
Konstantin is trying to get Victor’s money by seducing Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) and hopefully making her his bride eventually.
In the meantime, Konstantin expects Theresa to keep reeling Alex in so that she can marry him and score Konstantin a cut of Victor’s fortune another way.
That scheme could fall apart if Alex’s DNA test proves he’s Justin Kiriakis’ (Wally Kurth) son after all. Victor is no longer around to be part of this DNA test, so Alex might have his sample tested against Justin’s.
The plan could be to prove the familial connection and back up the claim that Alex isn’t Justin’s son – just like the forged letter suggested.
There’ll be a huge issue for Theresa if the DNA test indicates a full match between Justin and Alex, so she may have to swap in some doctored results instead.
