Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) feel like they’ve finally got a plan. Jada and Rafe struggled to fight their feelings for quite some time, but Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) both offered helpful advice.
That led to Rafe and Jada realizing they could keep their personal lives separate from their professional ones.
Jada and Rafe want to see if their romance is meant to be, so they’re willing to be platonic coworkers at the Salem PD and lovers behind closed doors.
Now that Rafe and Jada have hit the sheets, Days spoilers say they obviously want to keep up the private passion.
Jada and Rafe think they’ve got it all figured out, but this isn’t a plan that can work long-term.
For starters, what happens if Jada and Rafe want to build a real future together on DOOL?
It’s not like Rafe and Jada can have a secret marriage and start having babies without people knowing the truth.
However, Days spoilers suggest Jada and Rafe won’t get that far before another problem strikes.
It’s just a matter of time until someone catches on and threatens to expose the broken rule against fraternizing with a subordinate.
Of course, it’d have to be someone with a motive for wanting one or both of them fired, so it makes sense for DA Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) to discover Rafe’s forbidden romance with Jada.
Days fans will recall that Trask already expressed disappointment in Rafe’s work and pushed Abe Carver (James Reynolds) to replace him with Paulina Price (Jackée Harry).
Trask was eager to have a new police commissioner in charge who would hopefully do a better job than Rafe – one who’d “bend the rules judiciously” when necessary.
If Trask finds out Rafe’s committing an offense that could get him fired, she could turn him in and let Jada become collateral damage.
On the other hand, Trask might blackmail Rafe to make sure she gets the outcome she wants.
Just in case Rafe might wiggle out of trouble somehow, Trask could try to blackmail him into a resignation.
It’d be easy for Trask to demand that Rafe resign if he wants to save Jada’s job.
Trask might threaten to blow up Jada’s secret romance with Rafe and take them both down, so Rafe would be in a tight spot.
