Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) will unload her frustration during a visit to Seattle, where’ll spend some time catching up with Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) during Joey Johnson’s (Tanner Stine) accident recovery.
Of course, Wendy will have a lot to spill since she just caught Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) proposing marriage to Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens).
When Wendy realized she had feelings for Tripp that were worth exploring, she agreed to go on a date with him and see where it led.
Wendy and Johnny weren’t dating exclusively, so it was fair for Wendy to want to give Tripp a shot.
However, Wendy never expected to find Johnny down on one knee in the town square soon after!
DOOL fans could tell Wendy was hurt as she ripped into Johnny and told him they were done.
When Wendy updates Tripp on all this, she’ll convey that Johnny just wasn’t the man she thought he was.
Even after the drug news comes out, Wendy may think Johnny showed his true feelings.
Since Johnny immediately popped the question to Chanel, Wendy may decide her insecurities about his ex-wife have been warranted.
It seems like Chanel is who Johnny genuinely wants to be with deep down, so Wendy will move forward with Tripp.
Days spoilers say Tripp and Wendy will have their official first date on April 25, but it won’t go according to plan.
Wendy and Tripp’s night together will take a wild turn, so what might bring an unexpected end to it?
It’s possible Johnny will make a mess of things if he derails the date and tries to win Wendy back, but he’ll have other Lady Whistleblower problems to contend with. That could leave Johnny too busy to bother Wendy.
There’s a chance this wild twist won’t be a bad thing at all.
Days spoilers say April 25 will also bring a Johnson family reunion, so maybe Kayla Johnson’s (Mary Beth Evans) homecoming will be what throws things off.
Kayla might inadvertently derail Tripp’s night with Wendy once she’s finally back from Greece, but they can all agree that’s a pretty welcome distraction!
Whether this Days reunion happens in Seattle or Salem, it’ll be nice to see some heartfelt scenes for the Johnson fam.
