Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Tuesday, August 8, reveal that Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will face more guilt as he heads back to work at the Salem PD. Since Shawn inadvertently got Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) fired, that only added to his struggles over accidentally putting Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) in a coma.
Shawn will be reinstated following his suspension and will end up accepting a new job soon.
If Shawn ends up being the interim police commissioner despite his recent reprimand, that could make him feel even worse about the whole situation.
Meanwhile, Days spoilers say Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) will listen to amnesiac Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) troubles and offer some guidance.
Although Abe can’t remember his love for Paulina Price (Jackée Harry), Kayla may hold out hope that they can find a way forward together.
Over with Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens), it looks like she’ll have a heart-to-heart with a distraught Paulina.
Abe decided to move out since he was just too uncomfortable at Paulina’s place, so Chanel may give her mom a pep talk and trust that Abe’s memories will return any day now.
Unfortunately, Chanel and Paulina will eventually get some horrible news about Sweet Bits.
There’s a good chance Clint Rawlings, who’s serving as Salem’s acting mayor at the moment, will find some excuse to shut the bakery’s doors once again.
Days spoilers say Chanel will worry that Sweet Bits may close forever, but Paulina won’t give up.
It won’t be long until Paulina finds Abe and urges him to resume his mayoral duties – partly so he can help straighten out Chanel’s bakery issues.
Next on Tuesday’s DOOL episode, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will stop by Bayview and spot a stunning encounter.
It turns out Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) will think she recognizes Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) and will start hurling all sorts of accusations at him.
Whether Ava actually knows Harris or just hallucinates that he’s someone else, she’ll definitely get agitated.
Days spoilers say Ava will have to be sedated, but Harris will feel sorry for her and wish that he could help.
That’ll lead to Harris and Ava connecting as friends and perhaps more somewhere down the line.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ava’s outburst will catch Harris off guard in the meantime, so stay tuned for updates on her wild behavior.
