Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, February 28, reveals that Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) seemed exhausted over Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (Richard Wharton) attempts to deprogram him, but Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) insisted the doc should keep going.
Although Brady knew Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) wouldn’t approve of his methods, he zapped Stefan anyway and left him physically shaking during the procedure.
Once Stefan finally slumped in bed and stopped moving, Brady and Dr. Rolf couldn’t find a pulse.
After Dr. Rolf ranted about Brady killing Stefan, Brady sent the doc for the first aid kit in the hall while he began performing CPR.
Right as Brady leaned in for mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, Stefan jolted awake and revealed that he was still alive.
Brady was relieved since he didn’t want to add murder to his rap sheet, but Stefan remained agitated over his imprisonment.
At the Salem PD on Tuesday’s Days episode, Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) was handcuffed to the table in the interrogation room after a night in lockup.
Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) insisted Li was going down for his role in Stefan’s ordeal – including Stefan’s attempted murder.
Although Rafe tried to get Li to plead guilty on Tuesday’s Days episode, Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) showed up and insisted her client should be freed from his handcuffs.
Since Sloan had just come from Melinda Trask’s (Tina Huang) office, she knew the DA wasn’t as optimistic about the charges sticking.
Rafe got a text from Trask, so Sloan assumed it told Rafe to release Li right away.
Sloan pointed out that Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) lied to get Dr. Rolf to sign that statement and didn’t really work for her.
Rafe insisted he’d just get Dr. Rolf to sign a new statement, but he was forced to let Li leave in the meantime.
In the park on Tuesday’s Days show, Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) admitted they’d been thinking about each other since they met exactly 25 years ago.
Eric also confessed that Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) was rooting for them to get back together, so Nicole was surprised.
After Nicole brought up Sloan being Eric’s girlfriend, he insisted she wasn’t and explained that she was done with him.
Eric told Nicole that he betrayed Sloan’s trust through a plan to help Brady win Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) back.
Nicole talked about seeing where things might lead with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and got a text from him about something important.
Eric seemed annoyed and was ready to wrap up the conversation, but he asked one last question and wondered Nicole had heard anything about the DiMera who stole the orchid.
Nicole suggested she would’ve told Eric if she’d heard that kind of news, so he acknowledged that it was a long shot.
Later, Rafe arrived outside Eric’s room at the pub, so Brady put a hand over Stefan’s mouth to stop him from screaming.
Stefan bit Brady and called out to Rafe, who came barreling through the door to see what the trouble was.
Once Rafe got updates on the kidnapping situation, he placed Brady under arrest. Brady was in handcuffs when Eric came in and learned he was next!
Back with Dr. Rolf, he realized he’d better get lost before the police caught him hanging around.
Dr. Rolf grabbed the takeout bag of chowder that Brady had brought up for him and exited the pub.
Sloan bumped into Dr. Rolf and pointed out the cops would likely try to get him to sign another statement.
However, Sloan had a better offer since Li was still willing to set Dr. Rolf up with a state-of-the-art lab and no disturbances, so Dr. Rolf took that deal and walked off with her.
In the town square, Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) ran into Chloe, who was back in Salem following a trip to clear her head and see Parker Jonas (Christian Ganiere) at boarding school.
Gabi explained how Stefan called her by Chloe’s name on Valentine’s Day, so she acted like Chloe could have Stefan back if she wanted him.
Once Gabi explained her agreement with Li for his DiMera shares, she assumed she wouldn’t be seeing much of her husband now that he was headed to prison.
Li appeared behind Gabi and confirmed that he’d been released, so talk turned to where they’d live.
Although Li gave up his room at the Salem Inn, he had the perfect place for them to go.
At Wendy Shin’s (Victoria Grace) apartment, she got a visit from Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams).
That led to a conversation about Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) moving to New Zealand and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) moving out as well.
Wendy couldn’t afford the place on her own, so Tripp offered himself up as a roommate since he’d decided to stick around and got a job at University Hospital.
Wendy admitted she couldn’t even afford to split the rent between them, so there’d need to be a third person.
Even so, Tripp thought one roommate was better than none – unless Wendy thought Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) would have a problem with it.
Wendy insisted Johnny knew they were just friends, so it was decided that Tripp would move in.
After Tripp made some pasta for lunch, Li and Gabi showed up.
Once Li suggested they could all have dinner together later, he announced that he was moving in with Gabi and caught Wendy off guard.
As Chloe got settled in the Salem Inn on Tuesday’s DOOL episode, she was surprised when Stefan arrived on her doorstep.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Stefan and Chloe will have a lot to talk about soon, so stay tuned.
