Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, January 10, reveals that Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) pointed a gun at Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) in the townhouse, but she didn’t take the threat seriously and argued that Eric wasn’t a murderer.
However, Eric’s hand shook angrily as he moved closer and hinted about what he was capable of.
Kristen eventually realized Eric might really put a bullet between her eyes, but she assured him that she didn’t have the orchid.
Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) finally arrived and got Eric to surrender his weapon – though he warned Kristen that he did it for Eric, not her.
Afterward, Brady forced Kristen to pack up her stuff and move out immediately.
At the Salem PD, Eric told Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) to arrest Kristen and pushed him not to let their issues interfere with what needed to be done.
Rafe urged Eric to stop playing amateur detective and leave, so Eric ultimately relented.
At the DiMera mansion on Tuesday’s Days episode, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) broke the news to Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) about Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) and Kayla Johnson’s (Mary Beth Evans) deadly relapse.
Nicole also got updates on Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) illness returning and wished she could be there for Eric – though she knew she was probably the last person he wanted to see.
There was talk about Nicole’s New Year’s resolution to give up caffeine, but she decided maybe she’d give up men instead!
Downstairs, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) was surprised since Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) was acting so blasé about Gabi Hernandez’s (Camila Banus) info regarding Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (Richard Wharton) brainwashing procedure.
Stefan acted like he couldn’t even know if it was true, but Johnny confirmed it and confessed what happened in Jakarta.
That left Stefan wondering why Johnny didn’t tell him weeks ago, so Johnny flashed back to EJ begging him to keep quiet about his involvement.
When EJ appeared on Tuesday’s Days episode, Johnny told Stefan that he kept his mouth shut because of Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) wanting to protect Li Shin (Remington Hoffman).
Although Stefan was displeased by Johnny’s lack of loyalty, he suggested what was done was done.
Once Stefan headed upstairs, EJ thanked Johnny for having his back. Johnny then got a phone call from Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), who had talked to Brady about the missing orchid mess.
That sent Johnny to the Salem PD since there was a chance Dr. Rolf could make more of the cure.
Johnny let Rafe know that his search for Dr. Rolf was over since he knew where the doc was located.
In the town square, Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) confronted Li about his role in the brainwashing saga, but he refused to take responsibility for his actions.
Chloe eventually quit her job at DiMera Enterprises and left in a huff.
Next on Tuesday’s DOOL episode, Nicole stopped by Chloe’s hotel room and heard about all the New Year’s Eve drama in Miami.
Before Nicole could fill Chloe in on the situation with Kate, Kayla and Marlena, Brady interrupted and asked to speak with Chloe alone.
In private, Chloe wondered why Brady was there, so he confessed that he wanted to tell her the reason he broke up with her.
Brady said it had nothing to do with Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) and insisted Kristen forced him to do it.
After Gabi got a pep talk from Rafe at the Hernandez house, Li showed up at the door.
Although Li tried to explain himself, Gabi insisted that he was a “lying bastard” who had lost her forever.
Li argued that Gabi understood what it was like to do anything for love and felt that no amount of brainwashing would’ve worked if Stefan’s feelings had been strong enough.
Although Li felt they belonged together and urged Gabi to take his hand, she warned that he couldn’t just expect her to forgive him.
Gabi ordered Li out and threw cookies at him until he scampered off in defeat.
As for Kristen on Tuesday’s Days episode, she made her way to the DiMera mansion, plopped herself on the sofa in front of EJ and announced she was coming home.
In the town square again, Nicole locked eyes with an angry-looking Eric in an intense moment.
