Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) will face a grim fate soon, so fans are trying to prepare for that tough blow. Ever since the news broke of John Aniston’s passing, viewers have been waiting on Victor’s official DOOL exit and the funeral that’ll be part of that departure.
Now new details are emerging about how Days will write Victor Kiriakis out of the show. DailyMail.com is reporting that the plan is to have Victor perish in a plane crash – and Days insiders are backing up that theory.
Although there’s no confirmation on Victor’s exit strategy, there’s definitely major buzz about this plane crash from people in the know.
It makes sense to write Victor out this way as opposed to giving him a serious illness or something that’d make him seem old and feeble.
Victor can continue to carry out Titan business to the very end if he’s perhaps on a company-related trip when his jet goes down.
Then again, it would add to Shawn Brady’s (Brandon Beemer) guilt if Victor ends up crashing while flying to or from comatose Bo Brady’s (Peter Reckell) facility.
That could leave Shawn feeling like it’s his fault that Victor was on the plane and therefore his fault that Victor didn’t survive.
Shawn feels bad enough about what happened to Bo, so Victor’s tragic demise would make him feel even worse in that case.
Regardless, it does sound like a plane crash is ahead for Victor, so Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) should eventually get some terrible updates on her husband’s flight.
It’ll be hard for Maggie to lose Victor, but she can take comfort in the powerful love and memories they shared over the years.
Days spoilers say Victor’s friends and family will ultimately gather for a funeral, which is expected to air in late August or early September.
