Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers and update for Wednesday, December 27, reveal that Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) will worry about the tight spot they’ve landed in. Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) just showed up right after the drug shipment came in, so now Stefan and Ava have to cover up what’s really going on.
Once Stefan takes the shipment inside, he’ll leave Ava to deal with Harris.
When Harris calls Ava out for lying, she’ll assume he’s about to bust her over the shipment Clyde Weston (James Read) arranged.
However, Harris will actually accuse Ava of deceiving him about the reason for their split.
After Harris reveals his suspicions about Ava and Stefan being an item, Ava will lie that he’s right.
It’ll be a good cover story for Ava to latch onto, so she’ll roll with it and give Stefan updates once Harris is gone.
Days spoilers say Stefan will express some initial outrage, but he’ll ultimately agree Ava made the right call.
Now Harris will get off their back and assume any shady behavior is the result of trying to hide an affair.
As Ava prepares to join Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) and Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) for Christmas dinner, she’ll find out some terrible news.
Both Stefan and Ava will react to a couple of kids overdosing on drugs that possibly came from Clyde.
Since those kids didn’t make it, Ava and Stefan will grow increasingly concerned about this whole drug operation.
Across town, Tripp will give Wendy a pep talk as she frets over what’s next. Wendy’s mom wants her to move back to China, so she’ll be conflicted and down in the dumps over this difficult situation.
While Wendy wrestles with this tough position, Days spoilers say she’ll find someone who understands to confide in.
Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) had an upbringing that was a lot like Wendy’s, so they’ll make a surprising connection as they open up to each other.
Over with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), he’ll worry about Gabi Hernandez DiMera (last played by Camila Banus) being stuck in prison on Christmas – especially since she was recently injured.
Days spoilers say Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) will do her best to cheer Rafe up, so maybe she’ll invite him to the upcoming New Year’s Eve bash at The Bistro.
Next on Wednesday’s DOOL episode, Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) will offer Tate Black (Jamie Martin Mann) a heartfelt apology for how she’s been behaving lately.
When Holly realizes Tate bought her a Christmas and birthday gift, she’ll be moved by his generosity. That’s especially true since Tate really put some thought into this present.
Holly will open it and realize Tate picked out Pride and Prejudice, so she’ll be surprised that he knew that was one of her favorite books.
After Holly hints about wanting another chance, Tate will give her one.
That’ll lead to Holly and Tate making plans for a do-over first date on New Year’s Eve, so they’ll agree to attend the party at The Bistro.
