Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers preview video for the week of February 20-24 teases that a wild twist is coming up in the afterlife storyline. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) and Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) assume they’ve passed on, but they’re not so dead after all!
Of course, Days spoilers have said all along that the women would make miraculous comebacks. It’s always just been a matter of how DOOL writers would pull that off.
The show put out a new promo that offers a first look at Kayla, Kate and Marlena’s exciting twist of fate in the laboratory.
Each woman can be seen in a cryogenic chamber, so Days is gearing up for a shocking lab reveal that’s sure to lead to more questions.
To answer those questions, we need a memory refresher on what happened in the last installment of Beyond Salem.
In that special series, Megan Hathaway (Miranda Wilson) worked hard to acquire the three prisms needed to revive Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) in a cryogenic chamber of his own.
Since Megan will return to the main show starting February 24, it’s safe to say she had a hand in all this drama with the undead women, too.
Megan likely stole the orchid and then sent ladies to the lab, so it’ll be interesting to hear more about her motives.
It’s possible Kate, Marlena and Kayla are test subjects if Megan is trying to perfect this back-from-the-dead process – though she may have another agenda as well.
In the meantime, let’s talk about some other fun details from the preview video. Kate was able to reach out to Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) once before, so she’ll try to do it again soon enough.
In the promo, Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) hears Kate attempting to communicate with Roman and admits he just stepped out.
Days spoilers say Paulina will take a strange message for Kate and report back to Roman once he returns.
This version of the afterlife isn’t exactly what it seems, so Marlena, Kate and Kayla will all get some stunning news about their fates.
It turns out Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) will offer at least a partial explanation when he makes a return appearance.
