Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of January 23-27 tease that Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan), Belle Brady (Martha Madison) and Will Horton (Chandler Massey) will gather to pray. As Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) death draws near, her loved ones will hold out hope for a miracle.
Unfortunately, Marlena won’t be able to escape a grim fate, so that’ll lead to some scenes in heaven.
Days spoilers say Marlena will spot a familiar face once she walks into the light, so that could be a blast-from-the-past character who shows up to guide her.
Of course, Marlena will also find Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) and Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) at some point.
All three women will get an opportunity to return from the dead, but it could come at a price since the devil will ultimately return to Salem, too.
Maybe the devil will get to balance the scales and make his own comeback since Marlena, Kate and Kayla are getting miraculous recoveries.
Regardless, DOOL insiders insist the devil isn’t done wreaking havoc!
In the meantime, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will rip into Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) for almost kissing.
It’ll leave Allie ranting about Chanel and Johnny’s lingering feelings for each other, so her girlfriend and brother will indeed have to talk about those later.
As for Allie, she’ll get some guidance from Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson), but the situation will get worse instead of better.
After Allie catches Chanel and Johnny in a warm embrace, she’ll explode all over again.
Elsewhere, Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) will console Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams), who’ll struggle over Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) mental state.
Tripp is also dealing with the loss of Kayla, so he’ll really need Wendy’s support.
That could lead to some jealousy from Johnny despite his continued interest in Chanel.
Next, Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) will comfort Eric over Marlena’s demise.
Since Sloan was heartbroken over her own mother’s death, she should grow closer to Eric as they bond over a similar tragedy.
Unfortunately, that’ll lead to another tense interaction between Sloan and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker).
Nicole may pick up on the shifting vibe and worry about Eric falling in love with Sloan if this keeps up.
That’s something that could concern Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) as well since he’ll have a tense encounter of his own.
Sloan will manage to get on Roman’s bad side, so he may hope Eric cuts her loose soon.
Over with Paulina Price (Jackée Harry), she’ll surprise Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) by hiring her with a new goal in mind.
Paulina will want help fighting back against Sloan and her lawsuit, so she’ll have a strategy that involves Stephanie’s PR skills.
Back with Wendy, she’ll let Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) know she’s sorry for keeping quiet about Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) brainwashing.
Wendy will also suggest Gabi shouldn’t give up on true love since she knows how much Gabi wants Stefan back.
As for Li Shin (Remington Hoffman), he’ll face a tough blow when EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) hits him with difficult news.
Stefan will find out EJ knew about his programming and said nothing, so there’ll be no reason for EJ to keep Li employed.
It sounds like EJ will fire Li, who’ll be down in the dumps until Gabi starts a manipulation plot.
Days spoilers say Gabi will work a new angle with Li and apparently make him think forgiveness is possible.
In reality, Gabi may just be trying to score Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) location updates or even convince Li to bring him back to Salem.
Although Gabi will still want Stefan deprogrammed, Stefan’s priority will become getting revenge on EJ.
We’ll see Stefan take steps to get payback, but it seems Nicole will inadvertently get caught up in his plan.
Days spoilers say Nicole will get drugged and practically beg EJ to make love to her, so she won’t be in her right mind.
Stefan will have problems of his own once Gabi knocks him out cold and hides her unconscious ex-husband from EJ – or at least she’ll try to!
Perhaps Gabi will ultimately drag Stefan down to the secret room and tie him up if he’s resisting the deprogramming at that point.
Gabi won’t stop until Stefan loves her again, so she’ll be willing to do whatever she has to do.
