Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of January 9-13 tease that Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will take drastic action against Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk). DOOL fans can expect Eric to pull a gun on Kristen, but even threatening her with a deadly weapon won’t help find the missing orchid.
Kristen will assure Eric that she’s not running some scam or trying to trick anyone.
The orchid will legitimately be gone, so Eric will eventually have to lower his weapon and accept that.
Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will worry about Eric going to extremes and will have a heartfelt conversation with him as her condition deteriorates.
Perhaps Marlena will warn Eric about the dangerous road he’s headed down and hope he’ll head down the right one instead.
You could call it Marlena’s dying wish since she’ll be fading fast in the aftermath of Kate Roberts’ (Lauren Koslow) death.
Of course, Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) will also be declining rapidly – though Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will urge “Sweetness” to hang in there and fight as long as she can.
Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will get the news that Kayla’s knocking on death’s door, so he’ll try to get in touch with Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) right away.
Unfortunately, it looks like Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) will prevent Stephanie from seeing Chad’s call.
Alex will most likely hit the sheets with Stephanie while Kayla flatlines, so he’ll cost her the chance to bid one final farewell to her mom.
Later, Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) will push Alex to come clean to Stephanie about his mistake.
Stephanie herself will demand the truth eventually, so Alex’s dream romance is about to turn into a total nightmare.
Naturally, Chad will be there to console Stephanie, so that’ll make things even worse from Alex’s perspective.
As for Steve, he’ll grieve over the loss of Kayla and wonder how he’s supposed to carry on without her.
There’ll be a Days bombshell that brings Kayla, Marlena and Kate back down the line, but things will look bleak for now.
Over with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), he’ll confess Kristen’s blackmail plot to Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and wonder if there’s a chance for them to reunite once everything’s out in the open.
While Brady pleads for another shot, Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) will argue with Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) about the de-programming procedure.
Despite Gabi’s desire to undo the damage, Stefan should remain against the idea.
Stefan will also get updates on Johnny DiMera (Brandon Barash) lying to him about the brainwashing shocker, so he’ll be deeply disappointed in his nephew.
Back with Gabi, she’ll reject Li Shin (Remington) all over again when he tries to push for forgiveness.
Li messed up spectacularly and will have a hard time coming back from this.
Other Days spoilers say Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) will spar with Orpheus (George DelHoyo) at Statesville before opening up to Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder).
Rex will be taken aback when Lucas spills a family secret, so that could involve Philip Kiriakis’ (Jay Kenneth Johnson) survival and secret mental health treatment.
Next, Days spoilers say Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) will seek legal help along with Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien).
DOOL viewers will also see Leo and Will Horton (Chandler Massey) do some major clashing, so Sonny may have to play referee.
Finally, Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) will confront Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and perhaps offer a reminder that revenge is still coming.
Although Chanel and Paulina Price’s (Jackée Harry) charges were dropped, Sloan won’t let that stop her from finding some way to make them pay!
