Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of October 16-20 reveal that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will create some distance in his relationship with Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein). Although lying Stephanie insisted she was fine with delaying marriage, Chad may sense that they’re not on the same page.
Fortunately, Chad will reach out to Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) in prison, which will lead to them exchanging mutual support.
It sounds like Chad will have a chance to open up about Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) and his struggle to let anyone fill his deceased wife’s spot.
Later, Chad and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will connect over the losses they’ve faced in their lifetimes, but at least Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) is alive and well.
Although EJ will be sorry that Abigail couldn’t be saved too, Chad may assure his brother that he’s happy for him.
Over with Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and Harris Michaels (Steve Burton), they’ll confess their feelings for each other.
Sadly, Harris and Ava won’t have much time to enjoy their romance since some danger is about to erupt in Salem.
Days spoilers say Clyde Weston (James Read) will deliver an unsettling warning to Ava over the phone – and we know Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) will land in a perilous situation, too.
There could be a link if Clyde sends someone to do some damage, so Ava will worry about Tripp’s safety along with her own.
Although Sarah Horton Brady’s (Linsey Godfrey) concerns about Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will fade a bit due to Susan’s survival, more trouble’s brewing since Xander will go after full custody with Sloan Petersen’s (Jessica Serfaty) help.
However, Xander will fret over Sloan’s cruel strategy, so he may start to wonder if trying to take Victoria Horton away from Sarah is such a good idea.
It looks like Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) will also give Sarah some legal advice, so maybe he can convince Sarah to work out a shared custody agreement with Xander instead.
After some friction emerges between Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), they’ll try to nail down an escape route.
It sounds like Leo will help plot a jailbreak for Dimitri in hopes of them being able to stay together.
As for Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus), they’ll have a secret meeting to discuss their next power play.
Gabi and Stefan will form a sneaky plan to make a whole lot of money, so stick with us for updates on their scheme.
Since Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) and Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) attempt to reconnect isn’t going as well as it could, they’ll get advice from some friends.
Days spoilers say Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will offer guidance to Paulina while John Black (Drake Hogestyn) shares some words of wisdom with Abe.
After Belle Brady (Martha Madison) makes a rather ominous comment to Talia Hunter (Aketra Sevillian), it could change Talia’s whole view of Salem.
Belle might warn Talia to leave town before she wrecks any more lives and act like she’s a drama magnet.
Whatever the case, Talia will make a major choice about her future, so she may quit her job at the hospital and officially put Salem in the rearview mirror.
Days spoilers say Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) will be upset about Talia’s decision, so she’ll lean on Rafe for support.
DOOL fans can also expect Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) to make a discovery since she’ll find out Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) is crushing on Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman).
Tate Black (Jamie Martin Mann) will face Holly’s fury for spilling too much to Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker), so he’ll offer an apology and hope they can start over.
As for Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson), he’ll have an offer for Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) to mull over, so we’ll see if that involves moving in with him, a new job or perhaps both.
Back with Nicole, she’ll talk to Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) as he looks forward to adopting a baby with Sloan and finally becoming a father.
Of course, Eric doesn’t know he’s already a dad-to-be since Sloan changed Nicole’s paternity outcome and made sure he was left in the dark.
