Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Whitley King (Kim Coles) will decide getting rid of Lani Grant (Sal Stowers) permanently is the only solution. Now that Lani knows the truth, Whitley can’t let her blab to the cops or the rest of Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) family.
That’s why Whitley will take steps to do away with Lani forever, but that could also be why Whitley totally snaps during the week of July 24-28. Whitley has been trained to do no harm as a medical professional, but it may finally hit her just how far she’s gone.
Regardless, Days spoilers say Whitley will face a mental break and won’t be able to distinguish what’s real anymore.
That could mean Whitley will imagine she’s on an episode of Body and Soul or even fully believe the husband who passed away is still alive. It’d be easy for Whitley to confuse her hubby for Abe once she’s not thinking straight.
Days spoilers say Lani will thankfully be rescued, but there’ll be some scary moments where it seems like she’s not going to make it. Although Lani will survive in the end, Whitley has proven she’s a danger to herself and others.
Once Marlena gets updates on Whitley’s ordeal, she’ll pay her a visit – presumably in the hospital since that’s probably where she’ll be due to her mental break.
Days spoilers say Marlena will check in with her former patient and will likely recommend that Whitley be sent to Bayview.
After Marlena evaluates Whitley’s mental state, she may work to convince Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) and the rest of Abe’s loved ones that this nurse is truly unwell.
Between losing her husband and this twisted Abe obsession she’s developed, it was apparently enough to push Whitley over the edge.
Marlena may have some compassion despite the horrible nature of Whitley’s crimes and argue that she belongs somewhere she can get better – not just someplace where be punished like Statesville.
Will Whitley exit DOOL by heading to Bayview? Will Marlena send Whitley to the mental institution so that she can hopefully get the treatment she needs?
