Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Jerry Prentiss (Terrell Ransom Jr.) will face more guilt once he realizes Whitley King (Kim Coles) is now drugging Abe Carver (James Reynolds). Whitley may assure Jerry that it’s just a harmless sedative, but Jerry will see that Abe’s out of it and voice his concerns.
Of course, Jerry had no idea what he was getting himself into when he agreed to pose as Abe’s son, Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson).
Days viewers will recall that Whitley convinced Jerry to take the role without informing him that she was holding the mayor captive!
Now Jerry feels stuck since he knows this isn’t right, but Whitley’s threatening to pin it all on him – not to mention this could ruin Jerry’s career as an actor.
It’s not like Jerry has a ton of roles coming in anyway, but this could create a scandal and ensure that he’s a failure in the industry.
Nevertheless, Days spoilers say Jerry will let his guilt win out over his fears since he’ll confess that Abe is still alive and that he’s been held hostage by Whitley.
This will eventually lead to Whitley going down for her crimes, but her history could perhaps influence what her punishment looks like.
During the week of July 17-21, Days spoilers say Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will open up to Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) about Whitley’s background.
It turns out Whitley used to be Marlena’s patient, so maybe Dr. Evans’ testimony will become crucial to the case.
Whitley presumably spoke to Marlena in therapy after her husband passed away.
Marlena likely helped Whitley try to work through her grief, but there may be some mental health warning signs once “Doc” looks back through her notes.
DOOL fans can tell Whitley isn’t behaving maliciously, so it does seem like she’s snapped in some ways.
Whitley probably never got over losing her husband and has chosen Abe as a way to fill the aching void in her heart.
Marlena might end up recommending that Whitley be placed in Bayview or another mental institution instead of prison.
It all depends on what Whitley’s mental health looks like once the jig is finally up!
