Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Xander Cook’s (Paul Telfer) jealous side could come out once Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) returns to Salem this August. DOOL fans know Philip was previously the one with the jealousy issues when he tried to frame Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) for getting rid of him for good.
However, Philip eventually realized he needed help and was quietly rushed off for mental health treatment.
There have been some setbacks along the way, but Days spoilers hint that Philip will be ready for his release next month.
Of course, Philip may have some lingering legal problems due to Brady’s frame-up and how all that went down, but it’s clear that he was unwell.
With Philip’s doctors backing him up, it shouldn’t be too hard to prove he’s received the treatment he needs to be a healthy member of society again.
Many Salemites will be surprised to find out Philip’s alive and coming home as a changed man.
As for Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), Days spoilers say she’ll no doubt be relieved to see Philip is OK and that he’s doing much better following his treatment.
After everything that’s happened, it’d probably be a mistake for Chloe and Philip to go back down a romantic road.
It could trigger some old habits in Philip and leave him right back where he started.
Nevertheless, Philip will want a chance to apologize for going off the rails and will surely try to get his friendship with Chloe back on track.
It’s easy to imagine some close moments between these exes that Xander ultimately witnesses.
Even if Chloe and Philip keep this reconnection completely platonic, Xander could get the wrong idea about what’s going on.
Chloe and Xander’s romance is on solid ground, so they’re going to need an obstacle or two sooner or later.
Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) is pregnant with Xander’s baby, so that stunning news come into play when the time is right.
Until then, perhaps Days will create some jealousy on Xander’s part once Philip returns and shares new scenes with Chloe.
