Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will leap into action during the week of May 15-19. It looks like Xander will hear a noise that jolts him out of bed, so he’ll emerge shirtless from his room and arm himself with a nearby hockey stick.
Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) will come out of her own room wearing her robe and will wonder what’s going on, so Xander may admit he feared there was an intruder. Xander will certainly step up to protect Chloe from any threats that might arise.
However, there’s a good chance this will be a false alarm in the end.
Days will have enough danger going on in Colin Bedford’s (Jasper Newman) storyline elsewhere, so there may be another explanation here.
Since Xander previously had a problem with giant roaches when he lived at The White Dove, it might be funny if one followed him to his new apartment.
Chloe might rip into Xander for letting a roach presumably slip into his luggage or something along those lines.
Then again, there might be a mouse or some other critter that causes a commotion.
The real point of all this will be to a) show that Xander’s willing to be Chloe’s fierce protector and b) awaken these two from their slumber so they can spend some quality time together.
Since they’ll both be up anyway, Days spoilers hint that Chloe might suggest sharing tea and talking.
We know Xander’s going to pull Chloe closer through a moment of honesty, so that’ll involve opening up about Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk).
Days spoilers say Xander will get vulnerable and talk about the guilt he feels over Susan’s grim fate.
Perhaps Xander will admit that one of his biggest regrets is taking the job Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) offered.
Kidnapping Susan sent Xander down a terrible path that ultimately ended his marriage to Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), but Xander may feel like he deserves to suffer since Susan wound up dead.
Chloe will see that Xander’s really broken up about Susan’s terrible outcome, so she’ll know he’s learned from his mistakes and wants to be a better man.
No matter what shocking apartment invasion might be coming up, it’ll really just be a way to push Xander and Chloe together.
Chloe and Xander could make some updates to their relationship status sooner or later, which means some big news may be looming.
